Not the same experience, but it's a nice port for the system that controls with one of the more accurate home light guns around. Not to mention that it was dirt cheap too.cj iwakura wrote:There's three arcade games I want because I feel like you just can't replicate the experience at home, and Time Crisis is one of them.BrianC wrote:

Super cool one this. I've bought the Polish print as soon as it was out there, surprisingly many years ago, actually. Am about to dig it out just so I can make sure as to what year it was, exactly.AKRATEN wrote:Also picked up The world of Edena by one of my all time favorite artists - Moebius
Since the one I've got with my PS3 is no longer operational, out of a sudden.

It's an Amiibo, so it's very cheap. I don't give a crap about Smash Bothers, so this is the only reason I wanted Castlevania in there XD
I actually ordered this (along with the Richter one) over a year ago, and when it became clear they wouldn't be getting them, the store called me and asked me if they should cancel the order (which I told them to do), so I'm kinda surprised they sent me this anyway.

Oh I should have noticed the Amiibo base. For shame...
I just had a figure order canceled twice but in this case it was me trying to use a proxy for a specific webstore, then that webstore blocked proxies. I find the figure later on Japanese Mercari and place an order with my proxy, it sells by the time they go to order it. RIP ME.

I'm sure most people in here have tried accidentally buying a game that they already own. It's the big problem of having huge collections, and it happens to me from time to time, even though I'm tracking everything online.
I just made probably the dumbest one yet... Intrigued by BIL's review of Veigues in the recent PC Engine thread, I went out and bought that game... completely forgetting that I already got that game less than a month earlier. It's even in that picture I posted a couple of pages back.

LOL! Well, there is that time I deliberately bought dupes of NES Golf and Roller Games simply because they weighed more than my shelf copies. Totally don't regret it since it turned out they were drug mules.
No, I didn't throw a party, but the video went viral and I got my $10-worth of excitement out of it.
...but, yeah, tons and tons of dupes just from condition upgrades and buying lots to fill holes or get mod/repair spares.
I did accidentally buy a manual for NES Goal! a few weeks ago only to find I already had it.

Ha, I remember seeing that come up with the drugs. Did you ever find out what was inside? I assume they were just sadly taken away before the mystery was uncovered.

Because of the amount it was sent off to Georgia Bureau of Investigation but one of the responding Newnan PD officers, Krause, now works for GBI as a drug investigator/specialist. Earlier this year his former boss from NPD, SGT Robinson, began working a side job with my employer. I asked Robinson what it was so he reached out to Krause. Krause texted back to say "Knowing what I know now, it was Fentanyl."drauch wrote:Ha, I remember seeing that come up with the drugs. Did you ever find out what was inside? I don't even think Fentanyl has a street value since they cut it with other stuff and sell it as Heroin. The street value if it was just traditional Heroin would've been ~$22,600 and Fentanyl is an order of magnitude more potent...
Last year... April 1st of all days! Original post was on NintendoAge where my brother and I shared the discovery before even peeking inside a baggie or calling the police. Considering the date, we had to make sure we wern't being pranked by the flea market vendor (Infinite Games at West GA Flea Market).ryu wrote:Wasn't that years ago? Hopefully repairing a Switch for him this week but the darn replacement USB-C parts are always salvaged/reject even when you go out of your way to order them "new." Three out of five have solder and bent pins so I can only imagine that the other two were rejected before they were ever even attempted to be installed.
Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
I think I posted it in this thread. I am CZroe's twin brother and I was with him that day. We used my cash to buy the suspiciously heavy NES games.drauch wrote:Ha, I remember seeing that come up with the drugs. Did you ever find out what was inside? Yup.

Julian / Emmett Turner is my brother (aka "CZroe"). He recorded the video of the cartridge shells being opened and of me cutting into one of the packets.
Police haven't contacted us back. We haven't heard what it is. People have said a dozen different things, but the more authoritative suggestions have said it's heroin.
