Got power supplies. Every order including today is packed and ready for the drop off tomorrow.
A few power supplies will be shipped to those who got the wrong ones separately (as requested), the rest were refunded.

Sorry if you talked about this before, is there any way for GScart Lite 1.4 to support sync on green?
Re: gscartsw / gscartsw_lite / gcompsw switches support thre
Just a heads up I have a V1.5 and it works perfectly with my HAS V3.2 supergun.

Quick noob question, what do I need to purchase to get the dsub output to component input on the old GScart 3.4 switch? I thought it was VGA to component cable but I'm wrong.
Re: gscartsw / gscartsw_lite / gcompsw switches support thre
Which doesn't mean much as you haven't played some particular game on high volumezionfarm wrote:Just a heads up I have a V1.5 and it works perfectly with my HAS V3.2 supergun.
Everything is on your risk.

You want BNC, right?Darkglobe1977 wrote:Quick noob question, what do I need to purchase to get the dsub output to component input on the old GScart 3.4 switch? I thought it was VGA to component cable but I'm wrong.
Get the cable from Monoprice.

No I need regular component cable for a crt not bnc. What you describe does not exist as a cable. You would need to route the gscartsw to some type of active signal converter.Darkglobe1977 wrote:No I need regular component cable for a crt not bnc. If you're trying to get YPbPr component from an ostensibly RGBHV source through the DE-15 output on your gscart 3.4, you're going to need something that can convert the colorspace from RGB to YPbPr. The only single-device transcoder that comes to mind is the Retrotek VGACTV2. If you want to spend a little more money for arguably better quality, you can get Mike Chi's RGB2COMP and a DE-15+TRS to SCART adapter (And remember that SCART is directional, so don't get a SCART to DE-15+TRS adapter).Darkglobe1977 wrote:No I need regular component cable for a crt not bnc. If you're instead looking to go component as in RGsB, you'll need to get something like an Extron RGB interface, configure it for RGsB output, and get some female RCA to male BNC adapters.

Re: gscartsw / gscartsw_lite / gcompsw switches support thre
Hello, gscartsw is available? If i pay now when can be shipped? There's a way to talk directly with superg? Thanks
Re: gscartsw / gscartsw_lite / gcompsw switches support thre
Superg, just wanted to say thanks for all the work you do to make these awesome devices. My gscartsw has worked flawlessly since the day I got it. I recently ordered a gcompsw as well and I'm excited to add it to my setup (never thought I would be excited about an AV switcher...)
I'm reaching the point where I have multiple devices in my setup powered using microUSB, and am looking into a good way to consolidate all the AC adapters. I thought about just buying a microUSB splitter cable and using that with the adapter that ships with the gscartsw, but I'm not sure if it could handle the additional amperage. I suppose I could also get a USB charging hub and plug multiple cables into that. Is there any chance of a cheapo USB hub adding noise?

Two follow up questions:
Would this Shinybow converter also work? https://www.ani-av.com/shop/product_inf ... cts_id=220
Do you know a seller for a DE-15+TRS to SCART adapter/cable. My searches could not find this for some reason :p

I heard that these were coming, a little while ago, but that there wasn't a timeline.nmalinoski wrote:you can get Mike Chi's RGB2COMP
I figured that there would be some warning before they became available. Now I've missed out on the first batch. Hope Mike makes more soon!
Anyone know if Mike has a mailing list or where he announces availability?

I bought one of the first batch, love it so far! He will usually drop a post here, RetroRGB will make an announcement, or check his twitter @retrotink2schmosef wrote:I heard that these were coming, a little while ago, but that there wasn't a timeline.nmalinoski wrote:you can get Mike Chi's RGB2COMP

Would this cable work for the G-Scart 3.4 DSUB 15 output?

You would need a male 3.5mm TRS to female stereo RCA adapter, but, yes, I think that would work. (Edit: Nevermind, that cable is specific to the Analogue Nt Mini.)Darkglobe1977 wrote:Would this cable work for the G-Scart 3.4 DSUB 15 output?

Also, the ShinyBow would work, but is limited to 31kHz max (480p/576p); if you're expecting to use anything beyond that, you'll need a different converter.

Be careful. That cable shorts certain pins in order to tell the Analogue NT to switch to RGBS mode. That may or may not be an issue with the gscartsw.Darkglobe1977 wrote:Would this cable work for the G-Scart 3.4 DSUB 15 output?

Thanks for the warning! Does anyone know where I can purchase the cable to get this job done?
What I am going for is: G-Scart 3.4 D-Sub15 out to the SCART input on the Retrotink RGB2COMP (When it is available again) then Component to the TV.
I cannot find the correct cable anywhere after a ton of searching.
Thanks again.

Re: gscartsw / gscartsw_lite / gcompsw switches support thre
Retro Access used to offer a custom cable configurator that would have allowed you to configure a cable with DE-15 plus TRS on one end and SCART on the other, but I have no idea why they no longer have it in the Custom Cables section of their website (Instead it just says there are no products in that category).
You could try emailing them to see if they're still offering custom cables, or posting something in the WTB forum, or looking on eBay; though, if none of that pans out, you might need to make one yourself.

gscartsw v3.4 provides +5V on VGA connector in order to power up some adapters. If that cable shorts it to ground it's not good. But I remember that some time ago retro access was making VGA->SCART cables for my switch.the Goat wrote:Be careful. Thanks superg, I will contact Retro Access to see if they can make me a cable rather than risk something that might hurt the GScart. If anyone else knows where I can find the correct cable please also let me know.superg wrote:gscartsw v3.4 provides +5V on VGA connector in order to power up some adapters. What device are you powering: gscartsw or gcompsw? What revision is the device? New revisions use micro usb for power.zak wrote:Where can I buy a replacement psu with the UK adapter?

Sorry if this has been answered, but I didn't see it in the description. The latest revision supports component video passthru scart right? Does it autoswitch if a component source is turned on?
Re: gscartsw / gscartsw_lite / gcompsw switches support thre
Yes, it will detect and pass through component source based on green sync.Uzumaki wrote:Sorry if this has been answered, but I didn't see it in the description. The latest revision supports component video passthru scart right? Does it autoswitch if a component source is turned on?
