This is my fightstick. Been playing a ton of Samurai Shodown 5 Special with it. If you know what video game the custom artwork is from, then you're cool.

There was a time, in the era of great chaos, when the Earth and the moon were at war with each other. A daredevil from the moon piloted a bizarre aircraft. It was feared, and because of its shape, called... Einhander.

Apologies for the lighting.

This one resembles me a lady stranger who sat next to me on the bus and immediately confessed that she was raped on the graveyard of Red Army soldiers we were just passing.

For some reason I didn't really give Henry's Dream a chance until very recently.
I fucking love "Brother My Cup Is Empty" and "John Finn's Wife".

Got an Aeron at my desk at work, and a Mirra (with most of the available options) at my desk at home. Both are pretty nice, but I think I like the Mirra better overall. Eventually you reach a point where you get sick of replacing cheap office chairs every year or two and spend the money to get one that will last (or at least comes with a warranty long enough that you won't need to worry about it anytime soon.)

I've had an Aeon at work or home office from 2002 on... then I got this job in Chicago and have a very sub-par chair. We're doing an upgrade though and my butt cheeks are getting back in that sweet Herman Miller goodness within a month.

I believe it's mostly an expansion on the (many) HG101 shmup articles.

You can imagine I'm anxiously waiting for the volume with Shiki, since I wrote them. :P

I totally agree, having a chair that is built to last is great.

Awesome. After sitting in cheaply made office chairs for the last 10 years I was ready for something new that would stand the test of time and also be comfortable for long days of work. So far I am really happy with it . I especially like using the tilt locks for leaning forward when I am drawing.

I also recently bought a Super Gameboy 2.

The best part was the price and 5 were doubles. I should be able to keep the three I didn't currently have (Grandia II, Lodoss and Virtual On) for free and might even turn a small profit actually. The fact that they are all ex-nm condition helps as well.

The same guy said he has some PS1 RPGs in similar condition that he needs to dig out...

That's a pretty cool sketch of the slug, man

Your lineart's "thick 'n thin" technique is on point

also love the subtle watercolour-esque shading. it is nice here

Thanks ! I used the Rapidograph for the initial drawing and tria markers to fill in the color.

(I have to admit liking the articulation of German exceptionally in this one. Since I doubt it was the first tongue for the majority of singers, I take it some loving care was given here. The other day I saw Le Chœur de Radio France working on Brahms in a documentary about said Radio and it all seemed like a whole lot of labour to me, just getting the articulation right.)

You might want to get the Recca 1-ALL, then move onto Garegga; the FC game's first loop is decently tough, and the second loop is genuinely pretty mean. You'll have gotten the gist of its contributions to Garegga (and much more obviously, Pink Sweets) by the end of Loop 1, too.

Yeah this is replacing my current copy. Which isn't too bad. Actually I'll probably swap the map from my own copy, it's the only thing about this copy that isn't perfect. I did have a super bad copy that I let go for peanuts to a good dude.

Yhaa my copy of SSSC box has turned brown. Eternal Blue though is in pretty good shape

I'm a huge Lunar fan... even though I haven't played all of them I'm in love with the series. Dating back to when EGM had ads in their magazines for the Sega CD game... I've always had this nostalgic love for it.
