So a while back I was writing music for Devil Engine, but I'm more or less dropped from the project, outside some sound fx. No hard feelings; Tsukumo Hyakutaro is probably a better choice to grab people's attention. :P Anyhow, I thought I'd share some scrapped music.

Bad Ending - A Single Ray of Light

This would have played if you beat the game without 1CC'ing, scrub.

I'll try to release all of my music (about 15min worth) in a few months. Some good ones in there, ha ha.

This is also t he first time I've finished a track with my spankin' new Akai MPK261, which is a sexy keyboard indeed. I hope to really put this thing to use, but there are a lot of knobs and such I need to learn first. It saves time being able to play a section instead of input the notes by hand... though I end up going over the notes and trimming and cutting and putting them back in 'time' on my FL Studio piano roll, so right now it might be a wash. I'm sure I'll get better!

Cool stuff! For some reason it reminds of Namiki at times. It's a great jam.

Don't have a recording to show for it, but yesterday was the first show for my black metal band BEHOLDER. It was dope, great time had by all and it went well, got lots of extremely positive feedback from both friends and people I didn't know beforehand. including lots of musicians.

Our next gig is in Montréal on march 30th, if someone from the area reads this, come check us out! and come say hi to me, I'm a chill dude
https://www.facebook.com/hellhammered/p ... =3&theater

Also, production of our record is finally picking up the pace again, after a couple months of complete stalling due to our engineer's schedule just not fitting with ours. Half the vocals left to track, and the bass. and piecing the album together after that. got a couple sessions booked this month and next so it shall advance quite a bit.

Someone filmed a snippet that has really damn good sound quality, so I guess I can share that to at least give an idea of what it is we do (and it doubles nicely as a teaser for the album, too) :

Playing all that RE2 remake (all the time) gave me some inspiration to jump back into my survival horror series, and writing music in general (I haven't done much of anything this whole year).

This is a "Save Room" theme:
Consider Your Next Move

Very cool. 8) Good to see your guys' album on track too.

Double-post, but I made a YM2612 cover of Laura Palmer's theme from Twin Peaks in honor of Twin Peaks day.

Another Conan-esque riff!
I'll revisit this one later and add parts, but for now this short(but polished) loop will have to do. Think of it as a title screen track ;-)
(I had to give sign of life on SC, hadn't posted a song in AGES. and since it's gonna take a long ass time to finish this song(focus is on my Black Metal band right now).. and since I'm really happy with this opening (it's "in the can", really), I thought it'd be good to share it, as a teaser of sorts. Enjoy!)

Anyone here like classic Namco music?
This year is the 35th anniversary of Tower of Druaga, and I'm one of the weirdos that actually likes the game. So I decided to do an elaborate, 4-minute Sega Genesis cover of the game's soundtrack! 4 tracks, 4 genres, 4 minutes! Each original track is only like 15s long if that, so I naturally gravitated towards doing something fun and interesting. Tell me if it all flows together!

Hello there,

I usually play drums/percussion in two bands (main reason why I don't play shmups nearly as often anymore :P ).
But about a year ago I also started to try and create some electronic music. I can't spend as much time on the project as I'd like to, but meanwhile I have finished two tracks while two more are on the way.

https://soundcloud.com/redeemer_destroyer/sets/new-tracks

"Reborn" is kinda trancey (partially inspired by Rafael Dyll's Gunlord soundtrack I suppose), "Corruption" is more of an Ambient track, dark and atmospheric.

Any feedback is welcome since I don't have that much experience with electronic music yet.
Oh and if you listen to the tracks, please don't skip immediately... I always need a while to get to the climax and all.

I started to dabble a bit in OpenMPT, and created this rendition of the ice dungeon music from Ys 4 SFC. Except for the snare sample that I borrowed from crystalh.mod, I recorded all the others (mostly from a Yamaha DX100). http://www.hyakushiki.net/misc/hotice2.mod

Reworked version of the Ys tune. http://www.hyakushiki.net/misc/hotice3.mod

My take on the not-entirely-random encounter music from Record of Agarest War. Except it's kind of boring compared to the original. http://www.hyakushiki.net/misc/agarest5.mod
