If you're still looking, I did an unsuccesful streaming test of the game. While the video is unwatchable, the sound's not as bad so most of the AST can still be heard.

I was a bit eh on the AST at first, but its really grown on me and I honestly think I prefer it over the original OST now (save for the Stage 4 original boss theme which was my favorite before).

Applied 1.05 update, and the game still crashes when started in 1024x768...
I know this bug has been known about since the initial release - is it even being worked on? I have to admit I had high hopes when I saw that "display and resolution issues" were one of the bug fixes with this latest patch.

Would love to have this game in my cab. :?

Anybody have a clue on how to force this game to use a 60hz refresh rate instead of the highest available refresh rate? I've tried Refresh Lock and Radeon Pro and Crimson Clover overrides both.

I'm trying to play in 1024x768 @ 60hz but it automatically uses 125hz.

I tried both the potechi and Gryzor87 soundtracks, and I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how the latter is billed as an "arrange" soundtrack. Maybe my ears are just missing subtle elements, but the two soundtracks are completely different.

I think I'll stick with the original soundtrack over the alternate one; the AST just feels so foreign to me. To be fair, I've stuck with CriClo since the 0.20 demo so that's given me a huge bias for the original soundtrack.

It's not an "arrange" at all, it's always been billed as "Alternate"

Personally, I actually prefer the alternate for the most part, though I still prefer a few tracks on the OST

Does any one know how to fix FPS problem? I don't know the reason why the FPS is 56.9-57.1

Did you try using lower resolution (640x480 i suppose) or go window mode?
Also, is your monitor at 60 hz?

Yes,and my monitor is also at 60 hz, but it doesn't work.

For those who still don't own the game, Indiegamestand is featuring Crimzon Clover WORLD IGNITION as its deal for the next few days.

If you pay at least $1, you also get a Steam key (besides the DRM-free download, which is included with every sale), and for a few cents more, you can get the soundtrack as well.

I had the same problem sometimes and I think I got it fixed by updating my AMD drivers. In my case, my system has and AMD CPU running with a Geforce graphics card, so there might have been a conflict between those two.

So while fiddling with controller order issues today, I decided to crack open 2P mode for the hell of it. Rather interesting to see that score, break rate, and break meters all shared by both players; I wonder if this is to address the fact that few to no serious shmup players bother to play 2-player.

Also starting to have the 58 FPS + stutter issue everyone's been talking about, despite having about 2 GB of RAM to spare and nothing else really using the CPU. Wasn't planning to restart just to fix the "lol your controller is stuck as P2 deal with it" problem but looks like I'm doing it anyway.

Bumping this as I'm having issues with the GOG version.

I have a small computer I'm putting in a cabinet that I had planned on just running CC:WI in 480p. Now, when I put the shortcut to the game in the Windows Autostart folder, it tries to launch the program, then "Crimzon Clover has stopped working" and it's an error supposedly having to do with d3d. But, when I launch the game again, it works fine.

So, is this a known issue? I'm gonna install Steam too on this machine, as I have both versions, but I'm asking about this here in case someone else would run into this issue.

I have a friend with a cab that's running at 640 x 480 I can test on. It actually had an older GOG copy of Crimzon Clover on it that wasn't running properly (you could hear the sound, but nothing would display), I can try and see if a fresh install is having the same issue.

It may be that the game says it supports 640 x 480 but actually has some issues booting into it properly or something.

The weird thing is that it crashes on the first try, but works perfectly on the second. If I start it in Windowed mode, it doesn't crash, but the stupid mouse pointer hovers above the game. It's like it doesn't have focus? I just don't want to use a frontend to run the one game. I'm installing my Steam shmups on this system now, and I own Crimzon Clover for Steam too, so I'll see if that has less issues with 480p.

I wish there was a console port.
A Hardcore gamers reaction to the Lack of Kinect games. Apparently i could of played Dodonpachi with it if i beat a entirely in Japanese Visual Novel piece of shit game called Instant Brain
