Probably shouldn't have though as I've only just shelled out 200 quid for a Logitech g27 wheel, pedals and shifter so I can play project cars in vr

Yeah, even though our site doesn't allow full auto it will still fire faster than a regular pump action. I also picked up the 3000 end drum magazine because it looks cooler than the stock box mag

I haven't played in a few years due to working weekends but I'm going to try to get back into things this season. At least get myself there for one or two games if I'm lucky.

What's your load out?

I have several M4 varients but I like to keep things light with my VFC KAC PDW. Foldable stock, very short and I R-hoped it so it shoots straight like a lazer :)

Side arms is a G17/18C.

Secondary is a KWA ERG that's been R-hopped as well. Love the feedback with the electric recoil.
Both guns are pretty reliable. Though my G18C has been giving me a ton of issues I can't seem to figure out.

The other M4s are all tuned up as well but mainly wall hangers considering both primary and secondary guns have given me no major issues.

I like to be a bit different so the first gun I got was a JG star dragon/thunder maul, basically a stubby M4 with body kit.

Since then I've been using an RDP spectre with a pressure switch for a laser and strobe attached as main and a pistol grenade launcher as a secondary; surprised me that most people don't know what it is because they shit their pants when I come around the corner and hit them with 120 BBS at once straight to the face

Where I can I've been using the xcore tech mini tracer unit on my guns because it's all inside can so the short length really helps but unfortunately I don't know of any tracer unit that fits on a shotgI'm and sometimes I switch out the launcher for one of cymas pump action shortys

Nice... I've always liked the size and weight of the spectre. Actually thought of picking one up at one point but I have too many toys and over here in Canada toy guns are much more expensive.

I just prefer the look of it to the usual m4s, vectors, p90s and mp5s, only problem is the miniscule 40 round mags are the only ones you can get....think there might be a drum mag too but it makes it look fuglyyyyy

Some new Sega stuff:

I admit I just bought Curse because of the cover artwork. The game itself is pants.

I've been after Time Dominator for a while. Imo it's one of the good mascot platformers up there with Captain Havoc (mainly because they're both made by Japanese devs with an arcade mindset). Time Dominator also has one of the best Mega Drive OSTs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnVAuyWAf5A

GG Shinobi II is superb and best played on 3DS, so this is just for the shelf. ;)

hadn't heard the Socket OST, but seeing as it's a Vic Tokai game, I'm not surprised it has a killer soundtrack

How is sound quality over DAB? I've read mixed reviews, to say the least...

We don't have that over here, just good ol' FM and AM(all big stations broadcast in analog) and satellite and internet radio if your car is equipped for it. but no digital transmission system like DAB

Is FM stll transmitted where you're at? or was it killed off

Got my final(?) holy grail coming in... An original Bubble Bobble PCB... compared to the prices shooting games are going for nowadays, this suddenly wasn't one of the expensive ones anymore, so I might as well.

...however as usual, it's a US seller, and stubbornly refusing to pay $100-$150 extra just to receive the PCB, I've now got it stored away safely somewhere in the US until I'll be able to pick it up personally in three months >_>
The pain.

FM still is the very mainstream, it's DAB+ that looks nearly dead in the water. HOWEVER there are some radio stations DAB+ only (or via internet), which are not half-bad, so there is a bit of glamour to having a radio this diminutive receiving them just when I switch it on. Sound quality-wise, I believe the bitrate is 128 kbps at best, so there is that. Then again, I haven't heard it coming from any high-end speakers yet. My core issue with DAB+ is that not only the reception quite lags behind FM radio, but also different models of DAB+ receivers sport differently-timed delay. Thus listening to various models within one household at the same time can be challenging our habits.
P.S. DAB's supposed selling point is its low level of noise (that's the idea I've got anyway), which works, but the accessibility of DAB radio signal is no better than FM's (matter of fact, in environment where pretty jammed FM signal makes for somewhat discernible reception still, DAB can get effectively screened all mute; speaking of a single radio unit working in either mode here).

Just built a new computer, paid for by selling off a couple of my PCBs and some of my Xbox 360 shmups.

Specs:
Asus Prime Z390-A Motherboard
Core i5 9600k
32GB DDR4 2666 RAM (Corsair Vengeance)
GeForce RTX 2070
2x1TB M.2 SSDs (Adata XPG SX8200 for the boot drive, Intel 660p for the secondary; Going to try going without a hard drive altogether)
Seasonic X Series 850W PSU (Carried over from my old system)
Corsair H100i AIO cooler (carried over from the old system)
Corsair 570x tempered glass case

Haven't gotten everything reinstalled yet, but this sucker's FAST.

Hope you don't regret it later selling off those PCBs and shmups for the 360.

I know I regret selling off a ton of my Saturn games only to buy them back at more than what I sold them for :(

Currently I have no way to play them (had a cabinet years ago, had to sell it for space constants but still had most of my boards) so they're mostly taking up space now. At least some of the X360 games I sold off have Steam versions so I can still play them.

It's all just stuff/junk anyway. Doesn't matter how many toys you have when you return to the worms. That said I'll be sure to share pictures next time I get in something awesome.

Oh and sick PC. I haven't bought a new one in a few years. I did upgrade to a 1080ti when prices dipped.

Not specifically, but it should be plenty to handle a Rift (the bigger constraint here would be space in the office.) My old desktop PC was approaching 6 years old, and although it was still keeping up with things pretty well (a GTX 970 still keeps up pretty well, and I've had a pretty aggressive overclock on the CPU running rock solid for as long as I've had it) it was definitely getting old, and I probably needed to get off Windows 7 before support ended.

Yup. Angels Egg. This is peak Oshii. It's a visual feast rife with symbolism and almost no dialogue entirely. Watch it on YouTube if you need to given the cost. The LD is next to impossible to find now and the non-bootleg BE is $80.

Edit: a bit more dialogue than I remembered. Still minimal but next to no is a stretch. Can definitely be watched without subs and you lose basically nothing from the experience.

The dialogue doesn't even make sense so no worries. :)

Good find. This was always one of those coveted laser discs... I suppose it still is? It's great shit. Need to watch this again. I remember Robot Carnival being another one.
