I noticed there is a thread for differences between the original arcade revisions for Darius I:

ACSeraph's got a couple of posts here that touch on the variations between a couple of the versions on the Switch collection. It's not listed rundown but he's probably the authority on Darius 2 around here. (If you dig through his posts he probably has more to say on Darius 2 vs Sagaia, 2 screen vs 3 screen etc buried in his history but I went for the low hanging fruit)
