professor ganson. It goes so well with the cute avatar, that almost looks like it can only speak his name in lower case because capital letters wouldn't be cute enough.

BulletMagnet is a cool user name for a shmupper. But aren't you supposed to dodge bullets in a shmup, and not attract them?

i went through the first 20 pages of members assorted as descending from highest post count and compiled my top 10 list

10. Super Laydock
9. TWITCHDOCTOR
8. shiftace
7. FatalError
6. Gaijin Punch
5. pixelcorps
4. MadSteelDarkness
3. Bulletmagnet
2. nullstar
1. Shatterhand

As you can see most of these had already been mentioned in this thread and actually most of them where found within the first 10 pages - showing that people with awesome usernames really like Shmups. Or... something.
