Why is my VP30 + ABT102 card not allowing me to use 240p?

Hello all, I have a DVDO VP30 as one size fits all for my consoles and as part of a VHS capture setup and decided to add the ABT-102 card to it.
I'm a little confused how people are getting 240p signals to work with this setup as when I select "RGBHV/Component" in the input select option, I get a blue screen. I am running this directly from my Genesis like this: Genesis -> Scart -> RGB breakout -> VP30.

The "Input Adjust" options are greyed out when I'm hooked up to it via RGB as well. I am running the latest firmware at V1.14
