Just got myself a nice lg650uk monitor and it looks great on my Xbox one x.
The problem I've got is that it only rotates one way 90° which is the wrong way for the first 2 games I've tried in tate, batsugun and battle garrega on sega saturn.
I'm playing though an OSSC and was wondering if it has an option to flip the display 180°.
Do I have any over options!
I'm going to look at the stand tonight and see if there's anyway for me to modify it to rotate the other day!
Tate help!!
Re: Tate help!!
Do you feel confident that you can mod the rotation mechanism to allow rotation both ways ? (assuming even possible it probably requires cutting thick metal)
If not this monitor seems VESA 100x100 mounting compliant, which means you could purchase a third party stand for 27" displays, featuring full rotation.
They're like 30 bucks on amazon.

Re: Tate help!!
well haha I'll weigh it up. I'm very handy to be fair I just want to see how it works.
I'm gutted because I could of got the £100 cheaper one as I think my model was only extra because of the stand.
To most tate games only have one way rotation!
Batsugun looked amazing vertical apart from it being upside down haha

still have a closer look at your stand. You might be able to remove it, rotate it and re-attach it either without or with very little modification. This basically reverts the orientation of the monitor's rotation.
Re: Tate help!!
It's one of those clip-ons though (why manufacturers do this is beyond me)

I'll let you know how I get on!
Re: Tate help!!
Yes please!
That was a long time ago but I remember someone had the same problem with a Samsung S27C750P, it was just a bit of metal to remove then.
If you're lucky the design will be similar.

I've sorted my stand. Really easy. had to hacksaw one little peice off and now rotates both ways.
I'd include photos but I can't see how too haha
