I'm having a small issue, thought I would post it here, if nothing else for a curiosity.
So I've done the FU-RGB mod and the FBX Audio Bypass. Both mods work flawlessly and gave huge improvements for the SSDS3. FU-RGB got rid of weird diagonal rolling interference. FBX mod got rid of the annoying audio hum on sections without sound. I have my PCE hooked up to a Sony Sava stereo system, and I can literally rattle my windows with the unit's sound before I hear audio hum, in other words there is none. I had it so loud it scared the hell out of my wife when the audio actually started
Anyway, white PCE, with the mods. When I play Ys I & II (US) all is well, then after about the second time I save, the game starts locking up. What happens is you save, the screen goes crazy. I'm on a PVM, but the screen shrinks and doubles. There are two game screens on the top half of the screen, side by side. There is a high pitched noise/sound and the game gets to the "SAVED" pop up box. After you confirm the save and the box disappears, the game locks up, while continuing to play the high pitched sound. At this point, you have to hard reset the PCE, reload the game and the new save state. It works, but again, minor annoyance. I have this issue if in game hooks are enabled or disabled. I've saw this "double screen" thing when trying 480p
I theorize that something is happening while the SD card is being written to (I'm using the setting where each game has its own save file), but I don't know what. It's a real Sandisk 256gb sd card if that matters. Again, I'm not terribly concerned about it, but thought I would post here so the info is out there.
