I think I read about this lochness monster of an item before.
Very rare to find and really good at what it does.
Care to tell us some more? There is not a lot of information out there on this bad boy.

It's funny we're seeing more of those now that the OSSC is about to make it completely obsolete.

No way. What a find. Someone's wife must have been having a clean-out.

I chain my XRGB-2 to an XPC-4 at the moment and performance is really nice and stable with all material I've thrown at it so I won't be getting rid of it just yet, even though the OSSC is nearly here.

I'm not really feeling the love for this thing mainly because I have no decent LCD TV to use it on - CRT FTW!
I found it kept going purple all the time, maybe why it got junked? Anyway found that the fault - it was the 15 way switch used on these that are RIDICULOUS, soldered the connections permanently on ;)
The scanlines switch goes between fully on or off.
This has now gone to a new home, when/if I get a decent modern TV OSSC might be the way to go ;)

Had the same issue w/ the XRGB2
Dunno what Micomsoft had in mind using those 'centipede' switches.

Hi, sorry for joining this thread so late. I have been fortunate enough to track one of these babies down online recently. It's currently being shipped from Japan over to my place. I was wondering if someone could tell me whether the RGB input on this is EuroSCART or JP21 (since I believe the power adapter is Japanese)? Also, are there any important things I should consider before/when hooking this thing up? The setup I have in mind is NES/SNES/N64/PS1/Sega Mega Drive-Mega CD/Sega Saturn RGB > Micomsoft DISPL > SGI GDM-17E11 (has 13W3 video input so need to find an adapter for that first, because DISPL has VGA output correct?). Thanks in advance! :D

JP21. You will need an adapter to use SCART cables with it.
