Hy guys,
I recently played through the cave shmups on iOS and they are amazing and blood pumping. All ports (Dodonpachi 1.5, Mushihimesama 1 and 2, Deathsmiles) seem to be >pixel perfect< identical to the arcade. All except Espgaluda 2 (both regular and HD) which seems downgraded in terms of graphics; special effects are uglier, explosions framerate is much lower and explosions are sometimes missing, shadows are missing, pixel art is more simplistic, enemies are more minimalistic drawn and probably more i haven't noticed. It's still a decent looking game, but the original is on a different level.
Looking at how amazing Dodonpachi and others look and play, i wonddr why Espgaluda 2 wasn't treated with the sane love.

i'd say worst thing in most ios cave releases is how they don't allow best way to switch shot.
this is why ddp maximum, which was created FOR platform, functions better.
