Marketing research. Mostly an excuse to teach how to use SPSS.

Ooops, noticed a mistake, where it reads:

[4] lower-middle or middle class

it should read:

[4] lower-middle or lower class

Corrected!

My answers will probably be somewhat less than useful for your purposes, but I'll provide them anyway:

Gender: M
Age: 21 to 30
Education: University, Incomplete (AA degree)
Social: Middle

Question 1: Given the choices, I'd put down number 8. It has been close to 10 years since I made any significant use of Linux (or assorted Unix variants), and I have little familiarity with it now. The vast majority of my employment during that time has been in all-Windows environments (I currently work on a major Windows enterprise management product,) and thus have not had opportunity to use Linux in quite a while.

Question 2: None of the answers really fit. I'm just not familiar enough with the current state of Linux to answer this accurately. I do recall being somewhat put off by some of the prevailing attitudes in the Linux community (although not nearly to the extent that is found in the Mac community. They'll practically burn you at the stake there if you utter a disparaging word about anything with an Apple logo on it...)
