I was glad Chris at least finally got some money out of his ongoing shitshow life (besides welfare I mean). Maybe he could make a friend too? :o It's just his luck to find companionship in the most violent Nazi on the planet, but at least he's well out of pugging range.

Could've used to resurrect either the News or Nightmare Fuel threads tbh. Image Apologies if I've ruined your smile with this tale of unbridled shitting vandalism! To cheer you up here's another LIGHT HEARTED FUNNY STORY - my little brother visited home, and his now-elderly dog he raised from a newborn puppy was beside himself with dog joy. He's a clever pooch who's convinced he can talk, so it was like a fuckin episode of Scooby Doo or something. Tell you what, Dr. Roscoe never shat up anyone's street. No fucking standards... Image

This article gave me a few chuckles.
https://virtuablogger90.wordpress.com/2 ... o-shenmue/
Yakuza is great at being what it is, which is something very dissimilar to Shenmue. At its core, I would argue that Yakuza is, in fact, a modern 3D evolution of the 8-bit classic Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari (JP) AKA River City Ransom (NA)
Heh, then my personal favourite:
muh intellect wrote:though, as a previous article explains, Shenmue goes far beyond being just a video game
Oh gosh, in the other article
Much like any medium, be it film or music, there’s a divide between the interpretative works that will stir something up within the viewer/listener and the throwaway adrenaline rush or burst of humour that comes only with casual entertainment.
Don't you hate it when your gaming is interrupted by an actual adrenaline rush.
Maybe it's time to distinguish games from reality in that case..

Edit: o fuc, for all my pisstaking those articles have made me want to play shenmue again!
He wins. Guess I'll get the remaster

A one "Chris Hardwick" is the latest woke male feminist ally to field accusations of being a troglodyte piece of shit. I've no idea who this is! There have been so many of these, and most are known for nerd trash I don't follow. However I did like this:
The first time I told him I loved him after 6 months of hoping he’d say it first, his response was (and I quote), “I think I love you too, faggot.”

Read more about how Nerd Culture Is Rape Culture apparently. Image I prefer the principle that 90% of everything is shit, and human is no exception. Image

Hardwick publicly threw Harvey Weinstein under the bus in 2017, in a craven "listen and believe" virtue signalling fit of nerves, so fuck him 8)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ1tMBVvLJ4

What I will say, though, is that Chris Hardwick's moma, obviously never warned him not to stick his wick in crazy. I mean, Chloe Dykstra? No, no, no, no

I hope this one gets real messy, cause its going to be a doozy

"Boy! A long day of defending the practice of traumatizing children on the taxpayer dime to use them as political hostages so we can finally build that fucking wall really builds up an appetite. Where should we go for dinner? I know! Let's get some Mexican food!"

God bless the DSA.

Similar thing once happened here.
A Judge, who was notorious for incarcerating individuals who broke the law, was spotted after a day of sending chaps down, drinking a glass of water in a restaurant.
This judge was well aware that Humans predominantly consist of water and yet here he was, after a day of implementing the law, drinking . . . water!
Luckily, heroes just happened to be on the spot, screamed like loons and shouted gibberish in a chorus of Social-Justice-Speak

Also; "Democratic Socialists" of America. Now, that really did make me smile

Creeper flies from NZ to MURICA to duct tape 14yo girl, gets shot in neck by girl's mother. Image

Shame he survived. Here's hoping he is dying in agony and will leave the hospital in a body bag. Image
The Goochland County sheriff said Skinner bought a knife and duct tape after arriving in the U.S.

The sheriff also said the girl's mother saw a man trying to enter her home and began banging on the door with a brick.

The mom who was at home with her two daughters at the time warned him several times that she had a gun.

Skinner then threw the brick through the glass door and the teenage girl's mother fired twice, hitting Skinner once in the neck.

Seeing those signs at Whole Foods about how "Amazon Members save even more!"... on their outrageously marked-up prices. Yeah. Sure. Because your $3.99/pound chicken is soooo different than the one sold at Kroger, Food Lion, Winco or Aldi. And f*** your overpriced fancy schmancy hippie organic flavorless food. Twice, sideways and without lube.

Poor unfortunate souls, those who buy there.

The Willy Street Co-Op in Madison WI is the best damn grocery store I've ever been to. And one of the most efficiently run stores. Nothing stays on the shelves for very long, they really calibrate their stock to customer preferences freakishly well. That way I know if I'm going to try a new item at the Co-Op, chances are it's really tasty or they would have dumped it. (You still have to be alert for vegan bakery, though). And it's usually 50 cents to a dollar cheaper than its equivalent at Whole Foods or a regular chain store.

Meanwhile at our local Whole Foods (which I rarely go to now, but used to be on the way home from my old job) you have to watch expiration dates like a hawk. I've come home with loaves of sprouted bread only to find they've sprouted mold (thanks to them keeping all the bread under hot lighting) When I used to go more often they sold this tasty brioche bread that unfortunately had a very low shelf life. One week I could see all the bread was about to expire so I planned to come the next day and get the brand new loaves undoubtedly on the way. Nope! When I came to the store the day after the bread expired, the sneaky fucks had peeled the expiration dates off all the same loaves.

Thank God for worker owned-and-operated Co-Ops, don't let anyone tell you any scare stories about socialism, they most certainly can run their business better than a global monopoly.

I'm not sure my current PC can even handle PS2 emulation.

Meanwhile my stupid smartphone can't even handle popping up the keyboard input at the correct times. :|

Mine likes to hide the keyboard while I'm composing a message. I wish I knew why.

On a related note, this recent thread about using a Pi for emulation (again) in which the sole comment recommending a mini PC has been downvoted to the bottom of the page. Why am I not surprised...

The mechanics and tiers of Sailor Moon S

How I missed this I'll never know. But the fact definitely makes me smile.

And more of a late realization, but the fact that a Dualshock 4 is recognized as a regular DInput controller in MAME. Countless articles online would have you believe you needed to disguise the thing as an XInput controller to even use it on a PC.

Especially disappointing with DBS having already given him a much more compelling redux as Carrie, I mean Kale, the shy yet hormone-crazed teenaged girl harbouring a horrific berserker power. Image

Image

His movies sucked too, even by DBZ cinematic standards. He just poots out these green pellet things. Even that POS Super 13 is a more entertaining berserker. Hits Goku full-blast with a ruthlessly optimised cup shot only a psychotic machine could love. Breaks Vegeta in half over his knee like a screaming, wetly-splintering breadstick. Takes a firm stand against Piccolo's racism.
