Re: UD-USB Decoders (PS3/X360 to JAMMA, DB15, etc.)
Where can I get hold of the cased version of this?
Re: UD-USB Decoders (PS3/X360 to JAMMA, DB15, etc.)
Pasky has used a beta firmware w/ PS4, support, so he knows, but for anyone else interested, PS4 & XBONE support are working, but not officially released. Probably next month after I make some time to do a bit of cleanup.Pasky wrote:Any progress on PS4?
Waiting on some parts for another batch. Will be back up at Paradise Arcade shop when ready.famitsu1 wrote:Where can I get hold of the cased version of this?

Hi UD,
is there a place where I can get this wonderful device in Europe?
I've always been a bit afraid of overseas shipment. In the past I had lost of stuff lost due not only to shipping, but to Italian customs having items "mysteriously" disappear.

Not at this point in time. I do know quite a few people over there, though. Perhaps once I get my inventory back up to a comfortable level again I can pursue some distribution over there.donluca wrote:Hi UD,

Re: UD-USB Decoders (PS3/X360 to JAMMA, DB15, etc.)
Hey undamned, I've got one of your UD-USB terminal block models. I managed to wreak some electrical havoc on some of my equipment, and the UD-USB was one of the affected components. It appears it has developed a short between 5V and ground. Once power is applied, the LED light stays on permanently, and button presses do nothing, using a stick that previously worked with it and has been tested working elsewhere. I believe I have isolated the issue to IC2, which if I've done my research correctly, is a AP2151 SINGLE CHANNEL CURRENT - LIMITED POWER SWITCH.
I have pulled the AP2151 out of circuit and have continuity from the 'in' pin to the 'out' pin, which I don't believe is good. Can you please confirm, there should not be continuity (short) across in/out?

Hey undamned, Do you have any extras to sell? I was gonna order 2 for a local FGC meetup but Paradice Arcade went down for a bit and I'm worried I won't be able to get them by next Saturday.undamned wrote:Can you move upwards in other games?RuffNEC wrote:quite happy with this adapter but strangly I can't move upwards in the PCB Game TRUXTON ?!

Hi UD, any news on where to buy? Paradise and Aki got none of this.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: UD-USB Decoders (PS3/X360 to JAMMA, DB15, etc.)
The D15 is all nice an all.. if it worked.
Got Xbox 360 fight stick and nothing! tried updating it but the instructions are so confusing I rather try to pull my teeth out. Seriously. Now I have to go try and buy another one or another stick. Got the male to male cable from Amazon and nothing could be downloaded. Waste of time.
The HAS worked out perfectly. EVERYTHING worked like it should... but nooooo...one thing had to mess everything up and it was this damn device. Frustrating

Re: UD-USB Decoders (PS3/X360 to JAMMA, DB15, etc.)
Sorry to resurrect, but I figured it's better to post in the dedicated thread than start a new one.
I have 2 DB15 UD-USB's. One is having issues with the 2K input. Whenever connected, it holds that connection at 1.0V and the input will not register.
I flashed the firmware - 1.3 and 1.4d - no change on either.
I opened the enclosure and found that the 2K input is a direct connection to pic24fj64 pin 4. No components in-line or tangent routes.
All other inputs work fine. Anybody know how to remedy this?
On a separate note, found an oddity under the hood. See below. A resistor sandwiched between R4 at the ground end, and the non-sandwiched end of that oddball resistor not connected to anything. It doesn't seem to be related to teh issue above, as these components have no connection to 2K or pic pin 4, but a peculiarity for sure. I removed that oddball sandwiched resistor.
