Next weekend isn't actually great for me... How is the 28th or 29th for folks?

I prefer the 28th over the 29th if anything.

28th it is.

Also, multiplayer Risk of Rain on the big screen is really cool, though at super high resolution the sprites are so small that the folks new to the game had trouble keeping track of themselves.

Thanks folks for coming out. Great meet, subjecting people to Game Center Love is hilarious as always.

Thanks for showing off Monolith, Khoa, no regrets about playing it most of the night, it's amazing. *_* Charge is actually pretty decent as a weapon, even firing it uncharged it's a little gatling-like and decent, but that one property that creates lightning on a full charge is great, you can use it through walls. Razor is weird to control when you have the Lance property, but it's super damaging. Omygosh, love this game.

Good luck on the Sunset Riders clear, pestro. So close on Richard Rose's stage! Also, sorry about the sound chip crapping out. D:

Thanks weather for NOT BEING A JERK this time.

Will host the next one a few weeks into May maybe. Gonna take a break for a few weekends.

Many thanks for hosting! Had a really good time! The food was awesome as well. Died twice on Chief Scalpen and then one silly death on Ricard Rose’s stage during that credit where I reached him. A 1-ALL should be doable but 2-ALL is out of the question, confirmed impossible lol! I tested the PCB when I got home and the sound is actually working when I use my HAS but the intro sequence has slightly rattled sound (sounds like a speaker that’s been blown out) but the rest of the sounds are perfectly fine! It did go silent during the intro sequence so perhaps that had something to do with it, not sure. It’s a really minor issue though, I’m glad that it’s working more or less 100% :)

Need to level up in Bloody Roar 2 but I had a lot of fun playing it nonetheless lol. Dimahoo was also great, only played it briefly on mame before.

Yeah, this past weekend has been a blast.

I was honestly very surprised that Monolith ended up being a huge hit for the day.
As for weapons, I didn't like Razor and Charge as much as I thought... maybe I just like weapons with high fire rates (Revolver, Vulcan, Pulsar, Runic??), but I guess the other weapons I'll accept with very specific attributes. I wished I got to give Sunsetriders a go but Monolith and Giga Wing kinda stole that time away.

Unfortunately for next month, my hands are pretty full for the entirety of May (Stunfest and all) so I won't be able to join any until at least June.

Thanks again folks for chipping in a bit of money for food and drinks. It's strictly donations to help cover cost of keeping the drinks fridge stocked and food cause I know it's a pain for everyone to have to arrange to leave go out and grab a pizza or something. For folks on a tight budget (students, etc.), don't worry about it, anything you can give is appreciated and if not that's cool too, I ain't putting an attendance fee on the meets or anything like that.

Was thinking about May 26, June 2, or June 9 as possible next meet dates. Nothing set in stone yet though, what do folks think?

edit: Actually, May 26 works best for me, so gonna say we'll do that and see who can make it.

My good old buddy and the one and only Garegga champion, Eaglet, is coming over to visit July 14 - July 21! Would be awesome to have him meet everyone when he's here :D Not sure how the dates work for people but was thinking that July 15 might be a good day, I totally understand if it doesn't work for you so I can host at my place as well but I figured I'd ask since you have a better place than me for meets imo :) Cheers

Thanks for coming out folks! Was great finally getting to try Rolling Gunner. Loved getting some serious BR2 time in, and I can sorta (hahah not really) put up a decent fight in SF3rd.

Also appreciate the cash you guys left. Ain't looking to make money off these meets but I figure you'd prefer eating in than having to organize a food run for pizza or something, and it helps offset the pop/groceries. :P

Many thanks for hosting, had such a great time! Awesome matches in BR2 and 3S, I could continue playing those all night long lol. Really good stuff with Elena!

Was super cool to see the prototype Neo Geo game, try Rolling Gunner and Stella Vanity as well!
