Slo motion capture of crt

Post by tacoguy64 »

I think this belongs in this section but if not then mods can move this. Anyways like the title says, this is a super slow motion capture of a crt tv. I thought it was really neat seeing it like that and just wanted to share.

I would really like to see that camera filming two LCDs next to each other, one with backlight strobing and the other with BFI.

And after that, visualizing the sub-field drive of a plasma display would be nice too :P

It's really cool to see, but why do I get the feeling that out of the 4.5 million views this video has, about 90% of those are people who didn't grow up with CRTs, or can barely remember them? #oldfogey

Also, thumbs up at getting rekt by the first goomba in SMB ..

As crt fanboys I knew you people would like seeing this. The image on a crt appears super fast even when slowed downed in the hundredth thousandth of a second.
