PVM overscan for windowed games

I don't own a Sony PVM, but I am interested in getting one someday. I've heard that certain PVMs have a button labeled "overscan" which zooms in on the image on screen slightly. This setting is useful for zooming in on older games that are windowed like the original Starfox on Snes. If any of you know of any games that are fun and would look better in overscan on a PVM, then tell me about it. (A few examples would be Snes Doom, PSP games to a TV, and Snes Super Gameboy games).
