I guess this is a tradition now. As usual, let me know if I missed something.

Pause Menu

Restart

自機セレ前: Before ship select
自機セレ後: After ship select

Game Setting

System Setting

遅延対応設定: Input delay reduction. ON = less delay.
リプレイ自動登録: Automatically save replays. If off, it will prompt you after every run. If turned on and your replay storage is full, the lowest-scoring replay that you have not "locked" will be overwritten.

Other Setting

アドバタイズサウンド設定: Attract mode sound
コンティニュー設定: Continues allowed
クイックリスタート設定: Quick Restart setting (see "Restart" above)
描画ちらつきの再現: PCB sprite flicker
WARNING表記の自動スキップ: Automatically skip WARNING message
敵の体力ゲージの表示: Displays enemy health within the game window in addition to the standard gadget (a colored bar along the top of the screen)
ADPCM音源のLPF設定: Applies a lowpass filter to the ADPCM sound generator for extra faithfulness to the original PCB sound
DUAL設定 2Pガイン: Set the Dual Mode movement type for 2P Gain
DUAL設定 2Pチッタ: Set the Dual Mode movement type for 2P Chitta
DUAL設定 2Pミヤモト: Set the Dual Mode movement type for 2P Miyamoto
DUAL設定 2Pボーンナム: Set the Dual Mode movement type for 2P Bornnam

Custom Mode Settings

DIPスイッチ難易度: Dip switch difficulty setting in 4 steps. 2 is default.
プレイヤー数設定: Player life count
エクステンド設定: Extend setting
SUPER HARDモード: Enable Super Hard mode. Game rank will be fixed at 100%.
ランク調整: Rank adjustment
敵弾のスピード設定: Enemy bullet speed (弾速上限[n] = bullet speed limit [n])
敵の耐久力設定: Enemy health
ALLクリア周回数: Number of loops (1 or 2)
ゲームスタート時の周回数: Starting loop number (1 or 2)
オートボンバーの発動条件: Autobomb activation condition
  • ショット押下時発動(最大2個消費): Activate when pressing shot (maximum of 2 bombs consumed)
  • いつでも発動(1個消費): Activate anytime (1 bomb consumed)
ボンバー無敵設定: Bomb invincibility
ボンバー数設定: Bomb count
ミス時のボンバー数リセット設定: Bomb stock reset upon death (リセット = reset, 増加 = add)
メインショットパワーアップ: Main shot powerups
  • コイン1個で1レベル上昇: Shot level increases with 1 coin
  • MAX固定: Fixed at maximum
被弾時のメインショットパワーダウン緩和: Mitigate shot power-down upon death
サブショットパワーアップ: Sub-shot powerups
  • どれを取っても1レベル上昇: Level increases by 1 regardless of what type of sub-shot item is collected
  • MAX固定: Fixed at maximum
被弾時のサブショットパワーダウン緩和: Mitigate sub-shot power-down upon death
サブショット火力強化: Increase sub-shot firepower
アイテム落下速度の設定: Item falling speed (ON = slower)
当たり判定の縮小: Hitbox size reduction
  • 小サイズ = small size
  • 極小サイズ = extremely small size
キャラクター選択画面の制限時間: Character select screen time limit
2周目エクステンド設定: Enable extends in the 2nd loop, as well as spawn power-up items upon death

Controller Setting

Square button: cycle rapid fire setting for the highlighted button.

Screen Setting

画面回転方向: Screen rotation direction
Simple presets:
  • 横画面くっきり: Horizontal, clean scaling
  • 横画面フィット: Horizontal, fit to screen
  • 横画面レトロモニター: Horizontal, retro monitor
  • 縦画面くっきり(左回転): Vertical, clean scaling (left rotate)
  • 縦画面フィット(左回転): Vertical, fit to screen (left rotate)
  • 縦画面レトロモニター(左回転): Vertical, retro monitor (left rotate)
画面サイズタイプ: Screen size types
  • フィット: Fit
  • ドットバイドット: Dot by dot
  • マニュアル: Manual
スムージング設定: Smoothing
スキャンライン設定: Scanlines
壁紙表示設定: Wallpaper display

Sound Setting

BGMボリューム設定: Background music volume

Circle button: Download replay

Quick note: after a certain time (or number of credits played? I'm not sure) the FREEPLAY option becomes available under Other Settings.

It'll be the last entry in the list.

It's number of credits played. I unlocked free play in about 5 minutes of just letting credits game over while I was doing something else.

As always, thanks for the translation.

Out of interest, were the PS4 trophies for this in Japanese when it launched? I've only just bought it and I've noticed that they're actually in English which with the other Shot Triggers releases only happened when a Western release was on the way.

I know this as I always seem to buy the Japanese versions and then re-buy the English versions when they're out as you never really know what they're going to bring across. With other games they have changed the trophy language from Japanese to English just before they release them in the West.

The only trophy kist that still shows in Japanese is the Ketsui re-release.

Sure; the only reason I didn't is that I didn't get Ketsui right at release, but if there's still demand, I can do it sometime.

Thanks, that's a bit of a shame though.

I wonder if it does mean they're planning a Western release at some point though? It's a bit strange that some are English and others are Japanese. To be honest though, I would have thought that Ketsui was a more likely Western release as I'd expect it to be better known amongst more generalised gamers.

Just wanted to say thanks again, for all five of these. :smile: Been sitting on Shottriggers forever (years, in Garegga and Dangun's cases). Having finally gotten a PS4 to install them on, it's been a real treat finding everything translated here!
