So I'm trying to use my RGB 201 on my PVM, mainly testing it now, but plan on having it at the end of the chain after a switcher. But whenever I hook my SNES up to it, I can't get an image out of it. Well, you can see *something* but it's too distorted to see anything. Here's how I have it set up.
SNES - Jr Model with RGB Amp (https://console5.com/store/nintendo-mul ... o-kit.html, getting RGB and CSync from vias)
Scart - SNES NTSC Scart cable...
The cable is crap quality, no shielding or anything. I plan to make a better one later, but I currently get a perfectly playable image when going straight to a scart>bnc cable. I've also confirmed/changed some components in the cable. It came wired for sync on composite, but I opened up the console connector and moved the wire to the csync pin. There was a capacitor in the scart head (can't recall the value), which I removed and added a 330 ohm, 1/4 watt resistor to the line. The RGB lines had 220uf capacitors like they should.
I should also point out that I removed the resistor and wire for +5v, I didn't think I would need it, and wanted to test that. The cable I plan on using for my custom cables only has 4 wires (audio will be added separate) so I wanted to make sure it didn't cause an issue. Again, when going right to the scart>bnc the image was fine before and after changing all of this.
From there I built a scart to VGA cable to go into the RXi. I cut a VGA cable in half, and used the following images to wire it to a scart head...

For sync, I used the teal line. Made sure to check that I had the right wires by using a multimeter on the pins

I think that's it, hope someone can help!
