I have an issue with my BVM - 1910 where the blacks and whites are not bright enough, resulting in having to turn the contrast up too much, creating washed out colors that hide fine details.. If I turn the contrast and brightness down to where I can see brighter fine details, everything becomes too dark to see. If I turn the contrast up enough to see darker fine details, everything that is brighter becomes washed out without detail. I've attached a link to an imgur album. You'll notice on the ground of Megaman 8 that when I turn the contrast down enough to see the details on Megaman himself and the details on the ground, everything becomes far too dim. If I turn the contrast up enough to see the darker details in the bushes in the backdrop, everything because too bright; ie the ground details become white and Megaman is almost a blue blob.
I have tried with and without 75ohm terminators in the rear.
This is using a ps1 with retrogamingcables.co.uk ps1 to scart and retrogamingcables.co.uk scart to bnc with built in sync stripper.
My BVM monitor has no menu.
Turning the RGB gain and bias down does not help, it just makes everything darker.

Re: BVM White/Black Issue
Nevermind, I fixed it! I've owned this for over a year and I finally got ballsy enough to open it up. Ended up messing with the pots on the BJ board (one of the PCI style cards) and ended up getting it as close to perfect as I can without a probe! It looks A MILLION times better.
