Gonna be hardcore when the next Sony Box comes with streamlined wood paneling.

Seconded; if they're going to change the tone that much they might as well have done so via a new IP.Immryr wrote:holy shit that beyond good and evil trailer is one of the most cringe inducing things i've ever seen.
That was a certainly a surprise.ZellSF wrote:Shadow of the Colossus PS4 looks really nice.
How? What happened? I don't really want to watch these conferences, but I'm just picking up on people's comments, and so far the only remotely interesting thing I've heard come out of Microsoft's conference was Ori 2, or am I wrong?ZellSF wrote:Microsoft exceeded expectations for me. Am I the only one excited for this?Sumez wrote:Super Self-Concerned Burrito looks pretty promising.
Even if it was a new IP it looked awful but as a beyond good and evil game, the new tone is embarrassingly forced.BulletMagnet wrote:Seconded; if they're going to change the tone that much they might as well have done so via a new IP.Immryr wrote:holy shit that beyond good and evil trailer is one of the most cringe inducing things i've ever seen.
Again, is E3 really about/for "gamers"? It a fucking cringefest.evil_ash_xero wrote:Could you elaborate? I'm not paying tons of attention to this E3. "Repetition is the mother of all learning". Stay calm and buy these games. You really want these games. You just don't know it yet.Durandal wrote:Here's a curious pattern in this E3:Spoiler
If any of you have found more, please post them. I need them. Please.
Concur, beautiful. Absolutely the right game to take advantage of current gen tech. In B4 all the PS3 special editions end up in a bargain bucket.ZellSF wrote:Shadow of the Colossus PS4 looks really nice.

Got to admit, calling out the whooping, "CLAMP YOUR GOB, YOU FUCKING MORON!", had me chuckling. At this rate, the next marketing step in selling your games will be to tell gamers not to buy your games.Sumez wrote:Zen, you really want to see the video I linked in the post right above yours.
Same first party games we've already seen, VR, Activision (CoD, Destiny) and basically nothing else. It's impressive how bad it is.Durandal wrote:Unfortunately staying up at 3AM to watch the Sony presentation was a bit too much for me. Was anything interesting shown?
I just thought they showcased a fantastic variety of games, if they want to sell me on a console that's the way to do it there was all sorts of stuff, things that caught my attention:Sumez wrote:How? E3 is obviously primarily for commercial interests, gamers just happens to really enjoy it. Sort of like Christmas.Zen wrote:Again, is E3 really about/for "gamers"? They didn't mention anything besides the title, so it sounds like a 2019-2020 release. Curiously they didn't even mention retro. I'm afraid they might have outsourced this to an entirely different studio. In any case, the Prime games got worse with each title anyways so I'm not super looking forward to this one...TransatlanticFoe wrote:Holy shit Nintendo. There are a few more games coming out, but it didn't need them this year, with Pokemon SM Ultra coming out in November. Then there's the port of Dragon Quest XI.TransatlanticFoe wrote:Surprised as well to see a Metroid 2 remake for 3DS. Honestly thought they'd ditch 3DS fairly soon.
