(HELP) Bang & Olufsen MX 6000

Post by ryuuji »

Hi, I have a Bang & Olufsen MX 6000 TV sw 1.1 so no service menu via remote. The picture itself looks nice but it needs to be moved a bit to the right side.
In the service menu says "short-circuit SERVICE MODE plug, P700..." to access service menu. What does it mean exactly to short-circuit that ? How is it done ?

There's a small 2 pin connector on the back of the monitor. You need to remove the back panel to find it. Then you just need to short the pins. A flathead screwdriver with a metal tip will work.
