Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new stick pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I love the top and the cord management solution. The sides are too busy for my tastes, but I tend to like more minimalist stick art designs.

Wow, i had not noticed that thread before. I could use some help converting this into a multi-system unit if possible. Is there a go to member or website for that?

Just find a no solder multi system board that does what you want it to do.

Thats vague, anything specific? Google is a good thing but also has a lot of morons. Many instances where i do something and someone says "why didnt u just..."
Is there an all in one for ps2,xbox360,ps1,ps3,pc? Or an all in one for all systems (new gen)

I have one of these:
http://marvelouscustoms.com/joysticks/p ... onsole-pcb
I think the above link is the only place still carrying it right now. I've used it on my 360. PC, and Dreamcast, but it supports the newer consoles as well.
PS 4 isn't perfect however, there is an 8 minute time out. Still good for shooters and fighters though.
Read about it more here:

Argggg, most tutorials seem to be for the tournament edition , is it harder to do the ps360+ mod with the SE? If I am going to do this im going all out , so ethernet port, any suggestions?

The Brooks Universal Fighting Board is the way to go if you want a multi-console (PS3+4, 360+XB1) PCB. It has very low input lag and no PS4 timeout issues.

If you're willing to go all out I wouldn't let drilling one hole deter you.2dvertical wrote:Argggg, most tutorials seem to be for the tournament edition , is it harder to do the ps360+ mod with the SE? If I am going to do this im going all out , so ethernet port, any suggestions?
Yeah I ran into the same problem with the tutorials and kind of figured it out on my own. SE being the HRAP SE for the 360? Great stick, I have one too.
Here is my stick:
First picture - I had to drill a hole in the side to allow for the ethernet pass through (RJ 45). I did not want to be unplugging things from the board itself every time I wanted to use it on a different system.
In this picture you can see the pass through on the side. I put it on the side for a few reasons. The first being that the inside of an HSS 136 is cramped as fuck and I was limited in where I could place the board. The other being that after I placed the board and plugged in the ethernet the other end of the cord just naturally wound up there so I figured why fight it?
Here is a video detailing how to get around the 8 minute timeout on the PS 4. It isn't a deal breaker for me, but you may feel differently. The fact that I can use the stick on pretty much ever system far outweighs the small inconvenience of having to sign in after every fight/stage.

No its the madtcatz SF4 SE (see op pic) 360 . I wouldnt know what to do with the turbo button / on,off board. I assume the ps360+ just recognizes what u plug it into and then ethernet port for firmaware updates? Would you have to replace the original USB cable?

Re: Check out my stick
Personally I would wire the home button (the PS360 board has a home function) and be done with it. Holding start and select for three seconds also acts as a home button.2dvertical wrote:No its the madtcatz SF4 SE (see op pic) 360 . I wouldnt know what to do with the turbo button / on,off board. Yeah you plug it in and the board recognizes the console, although I always force boot anyway to be sure.
You would need one of these cables depending on what you want to use it with. You MIGHT not need any of the cables below after looking at the hardware guide (linked at the bottom), but to be honest I don't know. That is way above my pay grade.

Re: Check out my stick (edit *plz help with PS360+)
Thanks so much man. So according to those the directions the stick and main buttons seem easy enough, I think I figured out the start & back buttons and i think the headphone jack will snap right on. But i have no idea how or what to do with the turbo/home button board...
Also, i have a phat ps3 which plays all ps2/ps1 games so i assume that this will work with that rather than having to use the psx cord? Although i will still need one for my psx imports
A video tutorial would help a great deal as i can solder but my electrical terminology is lacking when it gets this deep. I think maybe that turbo/home button board is the same as the TE stick?
Searching the shoroken? Forum is a pain and i can only find people who did button/stick swaps on this particular stick..

Just to clarify what do you mean when you say " i have no idea how or what to do with the turbo/home button board..."
Do you mean if you'll leave it in or not? How will you get it to work? Or something else?
If you're going with the PS360 why do you need to solder anything? The board will supports 11 buttons (the face buttons, start, select, and home.
When I modded my stick I gutted the entire thing, dropped the PCB in and wired it up.
Had it been a stick like yours instead (from the looks of it) I would have done the same thing. The only thing I would have saved would have been the QD's, but depending on where you put the PCB I don't know if they would reach.
As far as it supporting the backwards games on your PS 3 I can't imagine why it wouldn't work.

Re: Check out my stick (edit *plz help with PS360+)
The turbo/ home button board, which also has a lock switch and a switch to toggle from R stick/dpad/L stick use. For instance when i play on xbox 360 the joystick wont navigate the menus or allow to exit games, i have to move the switch to dpad option...
So does this new pcb eliminate the need for all that? Can i just get rid of that home button assembly/board all together and replace it with plexiglass and a new home button ? Or how would i seperate/identify which wires for the existing home button in this "turbo" area, and where do you attach it to the ps360+?
Sorry i just cannot find the info on this
Ps. If you wire the home button to the designated screw terminal do you still ger the player 1-4 led status?

Re: Check out my stick (edit *plz help with PS360+)
This should help:D
http://www.beckfolio.com/focusattack/ak ... erview.pdf
On page three there is a button map chart for each console.
On page two there is something about configuration mode which seems similar to what you were saying about R stick/dpad/L stick use but I have never used it.
I haven't played on the 360 in a while so I just tested this for you on the 360 dash, I have the following buttons wired:
PS+ = 1P 2P 3P 1K 2K 3K Start and Select. I do not have Home wired.
360 = X Y RB A B RT Same^
The joystick moves around the home screen with no issues. 3P/RB cycles 1 page to the right and 4P/LB will do the same to the left.
Holding start and select for 3+ seconds will bring up the shut off console menu.
Holding select then start and letting go will bring up the menu where you can sign in/message people ect.
Basically you will be able to navigate menus and soft reset with no issues.
So does this new pcb eliminate the need for all that? - Yes.
Can i just get rid of that home button assembly/board all together and replace it with plexiglass and a new home button? - Yes.
Or how would i seperate/identify which wires for the existing home button in this "turbo" area, and where do you attach it to the ps360+? - Every terminal is clearly marked on the board. This was the first time I've ever done this. It's idiot proof:D
If you wire the home button to the designated screw terminal do you still get the player 1-4 led status? - My board lights up and I don't have the home button wired.
This boards only glaring negative is the 8 minute PS 4 timeout (which is easy enough to get around) and the uncertainty if they will update the firmware to fix it. I obviously hope they do, but wouldn't regret the purchase if they didn't.
If you can get over that it works with all of the following:
* Playstation 4 (8min Time Out, Soft Reset Possible)
* Xbox 360
* PlayStation 3 (with PS2 backwards compability for older PS3 systems)
* Dreamcast
* Saturn
* PSx
* Xbox 1 (Original) - Not sure but I think they mean the 1st Xbox not the Xbone.
* NES
* SNES
* PC (Windows)
* Mac (OS X)
