I decided yesterday out of boredom to clean out some steelbooks. I've got 100's of them (movies).
So I was wondering if selling over Xmas is good or bad?
I won't make postage before Xmas now unless I do a 3 day auction. But my main question is, will people get bored on Xmas day and look around on eBay? Anyone got any previous experiences? Shall I wait until March?
Thanks for any responses.
Anyone got any ebay selling tips?

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Check sold listings to check if it's actually worth it.
No point trying to get in before xmas, it's too marginal anyway and I think the crown Post Office strike is going ahead, so higher volumes are going to hit smaller branches this week.
January sales hype though, always worth getting in on that.

Document everything you sell with lots of pictures. Send everything tracked with signature confirmation required, and be ready for headaches. Ebay does not protect sellers and tends to side with buyers on damn near every dispute. You can't even leave bad feedback for buyers anymore. So it's a bit of a crapshoot with all the scammers taking advantage of the system. I still buy stuff from time to time, but i haven't sold anything in a while due to the bs.

Never schedule an auction to end on a holiday or a holiday weekend. Everyone is out doing stuff and won't bid. Conversely, do stalk auctions that will end on a holiday if you want to snatch something.
Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.
