material evidence of the project

The game is supposed to use 50YW as a base, I don't know where the older images went but new images of that project went up on vgmaterials.com around 2014, there's also some 3d cats which if I had to guess will probably be RSG-style secrets in the game.

I could have bet the first trailer or info would be out sometime late this year, but with M2 (where Ubusuna is being made) now busy promoting Garegga and other shmup releases I'm not quite so sure, they gotta space out the hype. Garegga is out on December 12 so maybe there's still time to squeeze it in there, here's hoping.

Because the style is very similar to Yosuke Yasui, the composer of Eschatos.

Still, a yoko by Qute? Color me hyped.

54 seconds? Try 20.
The music is either not done by Yosuke Yasui, or needs some work. Sounds like it's still missing something.
Either way, it sure looks pretty, I guess.

It all looks fine and dandy, but the cover girl doesn't. She looks like she belongs in a random cheap doujin.

The "beat" is too weak, IMO.
The song's "rhythm" is pretty weird overall, really.

It looks like they probably only actually started dev a month ago, going by that clip. Very "look, it's a game!" design to it.

The music sounds like either someone trying to copy Yasui's style, or Yasui gave them a placeholder and for some reason they ran with it. Character art is typical Qute fair, charmingly amateurish.

Probably was not a good idea to put this video out.

I'm excited by it.
Eschatos never looked amazing in gameplay vids
but is mind blowing to play. I'm sure this will be great.
Have to say though it doesn't look anywhere near the quality of ginga force...

Edit: yeah I also don't really understand the content of the vid, it kinda does feel like this is all they have to show....

I like visual style of what i saw in gameplay 20 secs. Looks "clean" and maybe a bit "toyish" :)

Is Natsuki Chronicle a sequel to Ginga Force? Where exactly does it take place for Ginga Force? After the events?

I'm lovin qute so much(I hope they stick to the kill every enemy on screen mechanic, I find that really fun) but if I seen a 20 sec gameplay vid of ubusuna i'd be waaaay more hyped. Come on iuchi blow us all away with a next next gen shmup of epic proportions. Pls make it happen...
Cave has lost its sparkle. It's down to you now...ha!

Also does the vid of natsuki where all the enemy missiles are getting shot remind any1 of blazing star?

● "Ubusuna UBUSUNA"
Maybe, as is coming people to see here, this is the best care I think made it a wonder as to, but ...
now, because of another project work occurs due to various reasons, the temporary development I am suspended. As soon as this work is over, development resumption is planned, but as it is currently undergoing major problems in development progress, it seems to be still waiting. I am sorry I have kept you waiting for a long time, I hope you understand.

I am sorry for incompetent notice, but this is the range that we can tell you in the current situation.

This is from vgmaterials.com, as expected, they're busy with ShotTriggers and possibly other shmups, or maybe just more 3DS ports, I can't tell with just google translate if the "major problems" are with Ubusuna or other projects but let's hope it's the latter

So it's in a playable state (?) but the graphics are incomplete, and release is still some undefined point in the future.

At least it's not dead, according to the dev.

I hope they finish it soon. I'm looking at Ubusuna as the next Radiant Silvergun or Ikaruga...

So...we got a faintly small update on Natsuki Chronicles...

Its in indefinite delay, lol... https://gematsu.com/2019/01/natsuki-chr ... w-in-japan

At least its still alive in some way, lol. Even one of the comments in that article did put it nicely..."The Duke Nukem Forever of Shmups!"

Besides, as I mentioned in the article, why bother making a spinoff focusing on Natsuki? How important is she? I mean, in Ginga Force, she only appeared as a boss character that you fight and defeat, after that she's dropped from the game completely, it's unknown if she's dead or not. The only thing we know about her is that she's a former friend of Margaret, the female protagonist of the game, quite possibly rivals. I should also mention that she's one of the hardest bosses in Ginga Force, second hardest, next to Viridian, obviously.
