Holy shit, that's a big score!

I knew you could make it! Fantastic job, really! This won't be beaten anytime soon (if you're not doing it yourself).

Thank you. You were a big inspiration when it came to scoring this game and I've admired your abilities with those Strikers 1945 and Garegga scores of yours for a long time. Your kind words mean a lot to me.

With that said this run could have done much better. I made a bunch of silly mistakes and ended the first loop with 19.9 mil which is ~2 mil off the score in your best run and ~7 mil off WR. On top of that I've gotten runs that died at the end of stage 5 that were going to get 23.5 mil, so this score was fairly far off my potential. The second loop was really good except that I botched the 2-5 boss and 2-ALLed with only one spare life, instead of the two spare lives I was aiming for. Suffice to say I still have much more room for improvement.

Also thanks Zlk and Mero!

Hey Plasmo I got a new PB!

Truth be told, I've been playing Donpachi almost everyday after that 42 mil run. This run is pretty much impossible for me to beat without getting the 2-3 bonus. The first loop had only 2 semi-major mistakes and the second loop is pretty much perfection from a chaining standpoint. Is this the end of me scoring this game? Maybe. Beating this score is scary and I want to move on to other games but with that said don't be surprised if you see me post another score here.

This time I minimized the risk of failure by trying to play better. I gave it my best try and quickly killed some enemies in a row.

This game is a lot of fun to play. Let's enjoy shooting games together! :)

This thread is no longer updated. You can find the new highscore topic here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60135

I have already added your score.

It would be nice if the moderators could update the "High Score Board Index" at one point and close this topic.
