This is both a late realization & a thing that annoys the hell out of me: Konami held a patent on camera tech that makes walls transparent when the camera passes through it. So any game that did this had to ask and pay Konami for it. http://www.j-tokkyo.com/1997/A63F/JP09299613.shtml

The only real issue with Ninja Gaiden's camera (which everyone loves to complain about) is that it doesn't do this, and today I learned that it's all Konami's fault. :x

I just realized the guy who made Five Nights at Freddy was the same guy who'd made a number of RPGs I'd played years ago (Pilgrim's Progress, Iffermoon, The Desolate Hope, etc). He had a number of RPGs with a really gorgeous art style and some interesting ideas in terms of game mechanics, but his plot writing had some issues. Mostly because of his religious background; Iffermoon's got a particularly egregious 'reveal' ending where you discover, among other ridiculous things, that an allegorical version of God is literally one of the playable characters. Which is a damn shame, because initially the game comes off as a cool, sci-fi game set in a strange universe.

The Pilgrim's Progress is perhaps notable for being one of one of the few non-shit Christian-themed games, let alone RPGs out there, plot notwithstanding. But his website has since scrubbed all his old freeware download links since he discovered horror games apparently are his niche. There's downloads in various places like Reddit for just about all of them.

I used to think this as well... always thought it was strange on the news all these incidents occurring in nice, even numbers... and they were so sure about it! >_<

I distinctly remember when I learned otherwise. After a heated discussion with my friends, I ran over to my English teacher at the time and he explained... my whole perception of the world changed that day :P

For a long time I thought Khan Academy was something related to Star Trek. I happen to own both Starfleet Academy and Klingon Academy games, so when I heard Khan Academy I thought it was another game or a fansite. Only much later I actually bothered to visit the site and immediately felt stupid.

Headphone extension cables are a nice thing to have when your headphones are plugged into a port onto the back of your computer...you'd have thought the first two times would have taught me...

Also, yes, there is a Jeff Goldblum Custom Waterproof Shower Curtain 60x72 Inch Bath Curtain. The
Silverback Gorilla Morphsuit Fancy Dress Costume, however, is "official." I have taught Amazon's "product recommendation" emails to be hilarious. I should go turn them off.

What if the "Russian hackers" were actually the US government? What if they planned to leak the emails and let Hillary off the hook, and all that other stuff, in order to make people hate Hillary and vote Trump out of spite? What if that was the true plan? :| :?

That's a conspiracy, not a late realization.

Each country seems to have its own unique 'radio voice'; a buttery smooth type of voice that's pleasant to listen to which you'll hear in commercials, ads, documentaries, news reports, radio shows, and practically everywhere. It's as if the same guy is doing all of them. But the interesting thing is that this seems to differ per country. Anyone else notice this?

Ron Howard is not Ron Jeremy.

Why is this porn guy doing a film about Niki Lauda? Ohhhhhh....

I barely avoided the exact same issue, except it was Robert Howard in place of Ron Jeremy. You know Ron Howard, he wrote all those Conan stories before going into films...well, that works :P

The illusion of Democracy, the illusion of opposition to Trump. The Anglo-American empire wants a swing to the far right and having the idiots bring it upon themselves is all the sweeter for the elites, expect the Muslim Final Solution after the next large scale atrocity.
No 'Christian' turned the other cheek after 9-11. It's hilarious that these idiots actually believe a multi millionaire elite who helped gentrify NY with the help of Giuliani and Goldman Sachs, who associates with the Clintons and the Bush family is somehow against the elite and while they're all distracted with #Pizzagate, Trump is appointing Neo Cons even GW Bush thought were insane.
Trump's a Trojan horse and the wake up sheeple crowd put him in, and now he's going to fuck them.

I didn't know the bridge collapse in Final Destination 5 was based on a real event: The I-35W bridge collapse.

Decided to look up "Miracle Mineral Solution," as it's been hovering around various news sites lately. And holy fuck - I thought this was gonna be some relatively harmless, binaural beats-esque quackery. :| Turns out, it's depressing and horrific! rofl! TLDR: desperate parents are giving their autistic kids bleach enemas to "flush out the parasites causing autism." PROTIP: a bleach enema will make you shit out your sloughed-off intestinal lining. Because it's fucking bleach. Trust me I'm a plumber. The scammers refer to these as "rope worms," and soon enough a vicious cycle is established. This is some scientology-grade industrialised hucksterism. Image
