As some of you probably know I recently did a vid and 1CC run of Thunder Force IV. For the vid I had my friend and music collaborator Julian record 5 covers of songs from the game (a couple that I'm pretty sure have never been done before). In the video I was forced to edit them down for the purpose of saving time. Well, I figured it would be a waste not to release all of them in their entirety so I am in the process of creating videos for each of the songs. Basically these videos will be footage from the area the song takes place in the game and the entire song unedited. I uploaded the first vid today which is of course Lightning Strikes again, played on screaming metal guitar by Julian. I will update this thread as the other videos are released. I plan on having one out a day for the next 5 days. Enjoy!

Here is song #2, Evil Destroyer! The boss music for Gargoyle Diver from stage 1. One of the most iconic tracks from the game. This one is a crunchy good time:

Song 3 is up! This one is a combination of "Where!" and "Strike Out". "Where!" is the interlude leading into the boss fight on stage 4 with Fomalhaut which then turns into the tune "Strike Out". I used them in a similar way for my video, but again, I wanted to release both of the songs in their entirety. It makes for a nice combination, considering that's basically how it worked in the game. "Where!" is a nice kind of sinister sounding electronic tune that leads perfectly into a really epic, screaming metal rendition of "Strike Out". I think you guys will enjoy it. Last but not least, the infamous METAL SQUAD! If you are a fan of SHMUPS you have no doubt heard this song as it has been covered countless times on YouTube. Although I feel Julian did the tune some real justice. Enjoy!
