Is there anything in this port that isn't in the DC version?

Well, for one thing, the original OST, and the Arrange Mode (lots of bullets, for starters.)TransatlanticFoe wrote:Is there anything in this port that isn't in the DC version?
The only differences between this version and the rest, is that the medal systems is slightly different, and the game looks a bit smoother than its DC counterpart, other than that, the PS2 version has Faintear as playable, but a little slower or something I've read the PS2 version isn't as optimized as its DC/360 version, but it still runs good.

NIN2-JUMP is now XB1-compatible. Woo.
CAVE said MS picks the games and they just sign off on them, so if you want something more exciting, go tell MS. They also said MS seems to be prioritising XBLA releases over retail games, so Guwange is probably next on the list, if anything.

Bullet Soul was just confirmed as backwards compatability in the near future, and also a US (digital) release in the near future which includes all the DLC.

Regarding Trigger Heart, they covered up some of the panty shots etc. in the XBLA version. Not that that's a deterrent for me, but if you google you can find some screenshot comparisons.

Source? Will this be vanilla Bullet Soul or Infinite Burst?MachineAres 1CC wrote:Bullet Soul was just confirmed as backwards compatability in the near future, and also a US (digital) release in the near future which includes all the DLC.
EDIT: I found it on the official 5pb blog, it doesn't have any mentions of it being Infinite Soul, Hope I'm wrong though.

When are these pantyshots supposed to show up? Endings? The main characters all wear onepiece bathing suits in all versions, don't they?szycag wrote:Regarding Trigger Heart, they covered up some of the panty shots etc. in the XBLA version. The blog does say it's "Tamatamashi" which is the vanilla version, but says it includes all DLC. I thought Infinite Burst was just a version that included all the DLC on disc? Or were the other differences between the two that DLC didn't account for? Looks like burst just had 1 more character and 1 more mode over the original.Oniros wrote:Source? edit: And is there an existing vote for Ginga Force on MS uservoice website? Can not find it.

Well, that's awesome, didn't think to see a G.rev title be BC, though yeah, there's plenty of STG's that are BC on X1 lately. Now what if for both Senko no Ronde's, lol. (Or Under Defeat HD, lol.)kassj0peja wrote:Strania is backards compatible now.

Came here to post this. Fucking huge!!!

Radiant Silvergun means I can finally get rid of my 360 and replace it entirely with a XboneX... but I have to wait for the XboneX to be released and come down to reasonable prices first

Ran it last night for the first time in years and it seems pretty great. Defaults to a high-res mode that didn't screw things up but can be dropped back (in several steps) to a full-low res Saturn mode with mesh transparencies intact. Looks like the real deal to me.
Thrilled. They are slowly knocking out every title from my wish list and don't look to be stopping.

Faaantastic. Was beginning to wonder if V meant Moss wasn't giving permission for them to make the older ones BC. Waiting for RF Aces now.. the big one!!
Re: Xbox One Backwards Compatibility - Vote for 360 shmups h
Are retail 360 games still region locked on an Xbox one?
Re: Xbox One Backwards Compatibility - Vote for 360 shmups h
Wouldn't that ball be on Gulti or Sucess' court? Moss had nothing to do with RFA AFAIK.bigbadboaz wrote:Waiting for RF Aces now.. the big one!!

Nope. The Xbox 360 emulator on the Xbox One is region free, doesn't matter if the 360 game is disc or digital.DoomsDave wrote:Are retail 360 games still region locked on an Xbox one?
Re: Xbox One Backwards Compatibility - Vote for 360 shmups h
Do JPN-only digital 360 games still require a VPN to download onto an Xbox One outside Japan?

I could not get the Japanese version of Raiden IV to run on my XB1.Cuilan wrote:Nope. The Xbox 360 emulator on the Xbox One is region free, doesn't matter if the 360 game is disc or digital.DoomsDave wrote:Are retail 360 games still region locked on an Xbox one?
Now seeking the USA disc.
A Hardcore gamers reaction to the Lack of Kinect games. Apparently i could of played Dodonpachi with it if i beat a entirely in Japanese Visional Novel piece of shit game called Instant Brain

Did you try setting you Xbone's region to Japan in the settings menu?Tokyo-J wrote: Now seeking the USA disc.

Stupid question, do you need to change original disc every time you swap between x360 games or it is possible to install them in the HDD or USB and run directly from console?
Considering recently between buying a replacement modded EU x360 to keep playing Japanese shumps or a new Xone with the backwards compatibility option, obviously keep changing original discs every time you change game is a handicap versus running all from a menu.

Re: Xbox One Backwards Compatibility - Vote for 360 shmups h
Yes you still need the disc in the console to play on Xbone. Also hardly any shmups are compatible so you’re better off with a JTAG/RGH or NTSCJ 360 anyway. For example the only Cave game that works on Xbone is Guwange.jandrogo wrote:Stupid question, do you need to change original disc every time you swap between x360 games or it is possible to install them in the HDD or USB and run directly from console?

Well, as stupid as it is, you still need the physical disc to run a Retail X360 game, even if installed, probably for verification purposes.jandrogo wrote:Stupid question, do you need to change original disc every time you swap between x360 games or it is possible to install them in the HDD or USB and run directly from console?

Also, goody that KOF SkyStage is BC. Although be aware that if you want to listen to the JP voices, you'll have to set your system language on the X360 or X1 to Japanese. Any other language will just be English voices. (And trust me, the English voices for KOF Skystage may be cringy at best.)
