I love this game! Still playing it a lot. Zero Gunner 2 could become the first "modern" shooter where I make a 1CC. But just maybe with a lot of work...

I recently got the 1CC on normal difficulty and I´m not far away on Arcade. The boss of stage 7 (where you fly a circle around this thing) is actually more difficult than the real final boss.

Meanwhile I could score well with each helicopter.

Well yes, there are two "5."s in the Hokum table. ;)
And you haven´t entered the Comanche score from DOS.

Christ I'm still only on 400,000 odd with a long way to go :(

But playng this game again has reminded me how bloody good it is, especially through the VGA.

Nice job :) This is the first Psikyo game I ever extended in (5k away in Strikers 3 >_>), so I hope to actually stick with this one and loop it soon. I don't know if I care quite enough to 2-loop it, but you might have some competition, Battletoad :)

Which helicopter are you using?

I don´t know if I can get deeper into the 2nd loop. It may only be possible with the Hokum because it is the easiest ship (my Apache run had a bit luck, I could have died maybe 3 times in stage 2-1 ;) ). But I need to change nearly all my tactics... in the 1st loop I destroy many little helicopters by crashing into them and shoot enemies while being near to them. That´s not possible in the 2nd loop because of the suicide bullets :?

But I´ll work on the Comanche 1CC first. Difficult enough...

Mostly the Apache, on account of its ridiculous special move. However, I'm running into big problems from 1-5/1-6 on. Going to have to figure out some k-rad boss strats or safespots or something, because I've been crushed as soon as I get to 1-5 and am assaulted by the jets that shoot a trillion aimed bullets, and it's mostly downhill from there.
