Great, finally :)
And with characters split up too, as it should've always been. Good!

EDIT: As for the extra informations for my score, I play 1P side on Shmupmame 4.2 and with Autofire out of respect for my arm. My muscles tend to get overly strained when i have to keep tapping while doing intense stuff. Idk what but arm hurts do not want.

Now that I've made it to 2-2 I'll probably hold off on updates until I get some more significant improvements, or 1-ALL with other characters.

For the sake of full disclosure, I did pause for a couple minutes before the 1-5 boss to take a phone call. Not sure how others view pausing in an arcade game...

You no good dirty cheater!

Real life gets in the way sometimes. As long as you aren't abusing "slow mo" or something with pausing I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm pretty sure everyone pauses their runs at least once, especially in console ports. Updated.

You might wanna keep track of whether people used the default stage order or not too. maybe
In any case my Stage order for this run was Sky, Desert, Forest, Water.

Bomb spam galore, not much to say. I wish I didn't suck so bad at this game but for now this is all I can do.
Deaths: 1-5 boss, 1-7 "Hibachi", 1-7 boss, 2-1.
Tech bonus: 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-5

I've sorta wanted to do that, but it makes less sense than in other Psikyo games because you can actually fix the stage order (like Strikers 1999). I would also have to do it for every other Psikyo game, and it'd just be a lot more ???.

The problem is that so many of these threads are ancient, so new research and having to add a million ??? everywhere makes any thread look like absolute crap. What I would not give to reset this entire subforum, and to have a team of people who are actually interested in running these things and doing the research.

Yeah, having a lot of fields full of ??? isn't exactly great. It doesn't even make that much difference in this game so I guess it's fine. There's really no need to change anything.

Square_Air - 925,900 - 2-1 - 1P - Yes - ShmupMAME v4.2 (Japan)

The score is a little short of what I wanted, but the basic 1-ALL was my main goal. I finally got a 1-ALL in all 11 MAME compatible Psikyo games :D. Looks like it's about time for second loops.

Psikyo games are even harder than I remember them! Good god you gotta be aggressive with that close-up weapon, or yer effed.

My first 2-all of a Psikyo game. It's the only one I played for now but I enjoyed it a lot so I might want to try the other ones.
Hopefully, this game gets selected for the Calice Cup so I can aim for 2 million.

Really like this game. Might even be my favorite Psikyo. Definitely coming back to this at some point.
