Who really did watch Freddy Got Fingered and wasn't entertained? This one's shitty reputation is one hell of a mystery to me.
By the way, "Full Movie" I'm seeing on YouTube looks hardly full to me (I remember a different scene opening the movie).
The rear gate is closed down
The way out is cut off

It has a shitty reputation? It's fucked up, but it's quite entertaining I'd say. But the last time I watched it I was still in high school so maybe it was somewhat juvenile humor. I should watch it again.

the telephone scene in the restaurant was my absolute favorite movie scene growing up

I don't like to say this about anything, but Freddy Got Fingered is a rare case of something that really was ahead of its time. The pre-9/11 world was simply not tuned in to the wavelength that movie was broadcasting.

Misunderstood genius? I wouldn't go that far. But who's to say it didn't serve as an inspiration to all the Adult Swim shows that would later go on to bring surrealist humor to the forefront?

I really enjoyed this movie but I don't think I've watched it in about 10 years.

My favorite scene has to be him explaining his cartoon cat with the x-ray eyes :lol:
