Re: The Official Cool PCB You Just Got Thread!
Congrats on that Hyper Anniversary PCB, such a sweet, sweet update on the old Street Fighter II formula, with the added perks of being able to play the original SF II cast in various incarnations.

How much did Super Locomotive cost you?
Re: The Official Cool PCB You Just Got Thread!
I was pleasantly surprised with Janpai Puzzle Choukou as well. I passed it up for many years assuming it was just another forgettable mahjong game, but it's way more creative & fun than that.

"Enough" - certainly more than I could sell it for outside of Japan. I can't remember the exact price but I think it was over $1200.DestroyTheCore wrote:How much did Super Locomotive cost you?

Oh, Thunder Fox and Onna Sansirou are cool games too. Well done guys. The Super Loco story was worth reading - been a while since I booted that one up, I'll give it a go again and see what I think.
Re: The Official Cool PCB You Just Got Thread!
Man, that's a weird PCE curio - great read. I've recently picked up several of those games on HuCard; kinda surreal seeing them rigged up to a dubious Playchoice-esque. I notice "R-Type III" seems to use the JP artwork from Part 1 - guess they knew not to doubt the star power of Dobkeratops.system11 wrote:TourVision

My first (and probably only...) CAVE game,
DDP DOJ Tamashii cart for a song from Sheep-nova. He wrapped the cart in a plain plastic bag and put it in a non-conductive bag...Any comments about that style of packaging system11?
The game will be docked with the pgm2 motherboard forever.

Very cewl, enjoy DDP!

Realistically it's also the only one you'll ever need. Desert island scenarios and that.rugdoctor wrote:My first (and probably only...) CAVE game
How much was this sold for. Sheep-Nova is local to me, although I don't really see any reason to pick this up twice.

I suppose NEw Zealand is at the end of the world and I do live in the North Island. If the shoe fits...it's a great follow up to Dodonpachi. The price was $165 or so shipped and I have a PGM2 mobo with a KOV rehash. I can not believe it took 3 companies to bring this game on the PGM2.

They're probably identical but re-arranged, the ROM board layout is different, some of the ROMs are a weird Hitachi type that I've had to design an adapter for (just waiting for the PCB manufacture to come through).emphatic wrote:Wow, very jealous of that Sonic Boom. No shame in the Sky Shark pickup. Solid cheaper game that I consider a classic from my youth. Also, one of the trickier games b/c of the short Jamma edge.
