Help! Name of sci-fi comic with organic transporters

Post by mice »

I'm going mad googling for this. Doesn't come up with squat.

The only thing I know about the comic is that there was some guy going into large organic beings and being warped to another organic being (on another planet?) or something like that.
Like they were being used as transporters between worlds.

Anyone knows what this can be?

Edit: Saw this in the 80s...kind of important info...

It isn't Allen Moore's run on The Swamp Thing is it? He does warp around a bit from book two onwards and then in book six he warps to some other Universe.

Have you got any pictures of it or can you remember who wrote it or which artist worked on it?

Sounds like it might be some of Alejandro Jodorowsky's stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions!
Still can't find any pics that looks like the ones I remember, though. :(

The "organic teleporters" themselves looked like a large snail with a large opened mouth that the humans entered.
That is all I can remember. And I think that all of the images were really detailed.
