VGA out from PC to BVM D Series

I'm assuming my BVM-D can handle the refresh rate of my PC's VGA output. However, which sync signal do I use? To my understanding VGA outputs a horizontal and vertical sync, whereas the monitor just takes one sync input?

I'm thinking of using VGA BNC breakout cable like this, any reason it won't work?:
