trizeal and xii stag same game?

are these two the same games. where can i find videos of both of these games as im thinking bout purchasing this game from a fellow shmups member for 30 bucks shipped.

Same here. Trizeal's a pretty basic looking but fun shooter, XII Stag is a mess.

If you are interested in home ports, Trizeal is exclusive to DC while Stag XII is on the PS2. Both games are worth a look ONLY if you have already somehow exhausted the quality shmups on these consoles.

I really like the music in Trizeal, but as far as gameplay in both Tri and XII goes, I can think of a hundred games I'd rather be playing.

For the record, I like both of the games.

As stated, they are not the same game. Trizeal is one of my favorite games - and continues to see plenty of playtime. If you are a fan of reasonably non-manic older-but-still-modern-era shooters (think later Toaplan), Trizeal is worth a look. Plus, it makes you and your Dreamcast scream with joy when you realize that a shooter from 2005 has made it to the little white console that refused to die (and I think my Dreamcast might collapse knowing that two more are coming in 2006).
