Wait... so this is the first Mushihime and not Futari?
Yes, the first one will be the first CAVE game on steam.

Which means we'll probably get "Bug Princess" with Japanese text in-game.
That's exactly what I was thinking 8)

Mushihimesama with English in game text and menus would be perfect.

The preview page says "Mushihimesama." That's probably going to be the final name.

There have been photos posted in this very thread that show new English interface text ("Original Mode" on the HUD instead of オリジナルモード).

This is how most of our soundtracks work. We'll try to get lossless FLAC again this time with Mushi's OST.

Any chance of updating the CC:Wi OST with a FLAC version?

Also, is there a particular reason why it takes Degica so long to put up Steam pages for upcoming games? The Raiden IV Overkill page was available many weeks before launch, while the Eschatos page was set up just a few days in advance.

CC:WI was a unique situation where, unfortunately, the composer had lost the original lossless audio files to a hard drive crash. We tried to get them, but they're just not available!

We put up pages as soon as we have all assets in place, sometimes that takes a while =P.

That would be great and a way for me to relieve the memories I have from 10 years ago.

Good to see this forum seems to be bustling nowadays, heh.

Man, I hope I can get this running on my japanese Asus Transformer. I put Win 10 on that thing... Else, straight to my good ol' desktop with Win 7 Ultimate.

And Ultra Mode being coloured Red instead of Blue for some reason.

Hey, Blackbird, any chance of Cave releasing a downloadable copy of the Mushi ver 1.5 OST (possibly along with the DLC component if it's not already included with the white label OST)?

I take comfort in the knowledge someone from Cave is actually MUCH worse at playing their games than me.

I though Slap Fight was just a saying of a shooter, not that created real slap fights straight from telenovelas or Kenneth's slapstick movies.

For a second I thought he might actually go full shmup and 1cc ultra. They should have had Gus showcase the game in that interview.

Thanks for the OST info.

I've never played 1.5. Is it a big departure from the standard game?

Tim James wrote:I don't have a dog in this silly fight, but if you're going to buy this to "support" the release of more shooters, don't do it for Cave. Do it for Degica. They're the ones with the energy, enthusiasm, and future. Give them additional evidence to convince more developers to bring their games out of the distribution dark ages.
In this case it would be doing it for both Cave and Degica. Get two birds stoned at once :D

It's not aimed at the forum, but at the general Pc gamers' public that knows nothing but the mainstream.

I think he was talking specifically about the article posted a few days ago where the author said he knew nothing about shoot-em-ups but you should go watch the movie Shoot-Em-Up and oh yeah by the way there's some game coming to PC or something
