Hello,
I am looking to put a PC and run MAME on an Egret 2. I used a Jpac on my old setup and I am planning on using a Jpac with the Egret 2. I am trying to figure out the best way to plug the Egret speakers to the PC audio in. What would be the best best way to do this?? I was thinking on getting an AMP with an RCA out and connect that to the PC. If there is a better way please let me know.. thank you for reading and for the reply

Re: Egret 2 Speakers questions to PC
@emphatic,
thank you for the write up.. you game me some good ideas:)
Opened up one of the speakers on the Egret and I think that the best option would be using the original Egret speakers. The cab wires are solder to the speakers. I am thing of two ways, a) de-solder the speakers and wire new wires with a regular clamp to the plus and negative then to the amp to the link above and forget about using a Jamma boards. B) de-solder the wire and using a clamp connect the cab wire and the new wires together to have the regular cab wires going to the cab and the new wires going to the amp to the link above. I am not sure if going this way would produce any issues or sound interference. Anyone has any ideas if it does?
