Is anyone here playing Kokuga? I've got a pretty good handle on most of the game, but the F1 boss is kicking my ass: it's an oversized version of the tank you're maneuvering, and it's mirroring your item use. This means that any special weapon you want to fire will also be fired by the enemy. Likewise, energy recovery is mirrored.
The only 'hack' I could find so far is to have a 'repair' card ready and select it when you're about to die, for full recovery. I have not yet been unfortunate enough to have that boss in the exact same state, so this effectively gives me two life bars. The end result is that the fight is incredibly tedious as it reduces me to using the standard shot. So far I managed to beat this boss once, more by luck than skill. All other boss fights have various exploits, and sometimes very elegant ones, so I wonder if anyone of you has found something for this boss. Any good strategy would be very much appreciated.
