Cyvern rank?

So I beat 2 loops of Cyvern on normal difficulty, after the ending started a new game with a new coin, and now the game is in a certain really hard mode. Went into service mode, its still set at normal difficulty, back to game - still hard as frig Not complaining about it - definitely getting a bigger score this way, its just that I didn't think the game kept rank like that..

Sounds almost like a failsafe to keep people (and quarters) rotating in the arcade after people catch on to it. I wonder if superplays show it.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I'd like to test this on mine. Was the 2-loop clear 1 coin? What region?
