Shaky 480p gamecube on vp50pro
It seems no matter what config option I try I can't stop the shaky video I get when playing gamecube games in 480p through my DVDO vp50pro. I have no problems with 480i or even 480p from my ps2. Can anyone help me with my setup?

How is your GC connected to the vp50pro ? Component cable ? Or Scart to RCA/Component adapter ?

Component directly to the vp50pro and then component to TV. When connected directly to TV it works fine.

Make sure there's no processing applied. Check if PREP is disabled. Same for the cadence detection. Deinterlacing menu has to be greyed out as well. Also check he audio delay. Move the slider to the minimum on the left. It has to read -7ms.

If I disable both PReP and cadence detection and set AV LipSync to minimum(-6 ms for me) then I just get a black screen not even vp50 menu. PS2 works fine with same settings.

You can set the audio delay back to 0. The check for the minimum is just to verify that no processing is enabled. If you enable PREP or cadence detection or any deinterlacing the value there will increase.
Not sure what's going on though. As a workaround you can disable the frame lock on the output. Output refresh rate -> unlocked -> 59.94Hz. This will likely work.
