When you run this game in RGB mode unpatched, it only shows you the top left portion of the screen.
I've seen patches for it, but they're a .ppf patch for some old Echelon scene release that I can't find a download link for that isn't dead.
I have the GDI version and I'm fine with modifying things in a hex editor, but I have no idea what values I need to change in the GDI version.
Does anybody know?

Just play the 360/PS3 version through HDMI with smoothing off, the achievement sidebars disabled and the scanline/phosphor filter on.

That simulates convergence issues... at least it did on 3rd strike and I thought that was idiotic.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Re: RGB patching Vampire Chronicle on Dreamcast?
Sorry for further derailment, but there seems to be misunderstanding within some circles that people need scanlines to make games look old (hence the uncalled for features like bilinear filtering or imitating bent picture displayed by CRTs), whereas we need scanlines to make the picture look simply good (some XIXth Century's line engravings anticipate the effect).Strider77 wrote:That simulates convergence issues... at least it did on 3rd strike and I thought that was idiotic.

This is all well and good, but I just want to play the Dreamcast version with the elusive RGB patch
