The warranty is for life! Also they do make some good (sound) quality headphones even if they are somewhat shoddily put together. Very cheap as well.
EDIT: Also, I wouldn't describe $40-50 headphones as "bargain bin" simply by virtue of the existence of $10 and probably lower phones.

Wandering around the front garden trying to work out what to tidy first, noticed 2 baby Hollyhock plants in the corner. Buried some seeds there from our existing one at the end of the driveway, last autumn. I created plants!
