Hi all,
I sprung for the Framemeister and a bunch of console scart cables and console mods. I haven't gotten around to installing any mods yet. Just unboxing parts and trying to make this thing work. I updated firmware on the Framemeister though neither version worked for me. SVideo works fine.
But RGB in gives me no video. I've tried two different Euro scart to RGB connector cables and both give the same problem. I get audio but a completely black screen.
I've tried SNES model 2, a NES Yobo and an Atari 130XE so far. I'm not honestly sure if any of these consoles will work out of the gate but I read online that they might work. I have dreamcast, ps1/2, and some other saturn cables I could try.
I'm in 1080p output mode. I've tried various levels of sync but no dice. Either this thing is broken or I'm missing something fundamental.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Going to read through a few more support threads here but so far the tips haven't resolved the issues.
I have a Denon Receiver in between the Sony LCD TV. This seems to work fine for svideo so I wouldn't think it'd be related?
Also, I've mostly used the SNES 2 as I assume this was the most likely to work out of the box though I have not installed any RGB amp mods in it.

SNES2 does not have RGB unless modded. Not sure about those other 2.

The NES Yobo is a Nintendo-On-A-Chip, good luck getting RGB out of that (you won't) and I think the Atari 130XE is composite and S-Video only out of the box and have no info if RGB is moddable or not.

Your other consoles do however output RGB out of the box. Just make sure that you get good cables (from retro_console_accessories for example) and the correct adapter.

Thanks for the replies! I tried the dreamcast and it finally made that RGB port work. I misread about the SNES 2 just working. It does need the RGB mod. I have mod chips for it and the NES so hopefully that will get them going.
The real problem was that I looked all in to this a couple months ago before ordering. But I got all excited yesterday and tried to hook it all together without looking in to what needed what

As eightbitminiboss said, you need a real NES for the NESRGB mod, not a clone system.
