I was watching an episode the 90s Flash TV series with a villain named "The Ghost" who commits crimes using television signals and I saw a shmup in the episode that the Ghost was playing that I couldn't place. I also heard a familiar jingle that is possibly from another game, but I didn't remember which game that was from either. Does anyone remember which games these were from?
edit: The name of the episode was Ghost in the Machine, if that helps. The shmup looked it was from 1985 or earlier.

Re: Shmup on 90s flash
Thanks for the info. Interesting that it seems to be a western named shmup. Looks like an Amiga game, rather than something made for arcade, though it's definitely a real arcade game. Especially odd that it doesn't have music.
Edit: Speaking of Amgia, the Amiga version looks identical.

Re: Shmup on 90s flash
Did anyone notice that almost all the in-game sounds are sampled from the Twilight Zone
I wonder who got the great money-making idea to put that [trying to think of something nice to say] on an arcade pcb?

I played that a ton as a kid on the Amiga. I still have my disk!
