That's the "Raiden Arcade Hits" release, which inexplicably contains only the original Raiden.

(You used the right BBCode to put an image in your post, but you need to link to the actual picture, not the page it's on.)

Wrong, I own this and it's indeed a Hamster re-release of the Japanese revision of Raiden Project (annoyances intact) but with Raiden II mysteriously missing from the package.

I'd rather play Raiden or Raiden DX anyway.

If you like Raiden II, then buy the arcade PCB of it...

If you have a Supergun or arcade cabinet setup, then naturally picking up either the original Japanese or USA Bios region of Seibu Kaihatsu's Raiden II arcade Jamma PCB would the best way to play Raiden II PCB in it's "purest" state with a true analog RGB monitor. A shmupper can't getting any better arcade Raiden II experience than with that setup. ^_~

Sure, I've got the USA PSX version of Raiden Project (with both Raiden & Raiden II shmups) when it was selling a mere $19.99 USD at my local Kaybee Toys store back in October 1998. But playing Raiden II on the PSX isn't the same as playing with the real actual arcade board hardware -- very different experience between the two platforms: home game console vs. arcade board hardware...

(I've been waiting 8 years for that now though)
