Sync Strike Screw Terminals

I want to use the screw terminals on the sync strike to output RGB and composite sync, so I used a BNC cable and connected it to the sync strike and the other end into my Sony PVM. When I do this there is no picture on the PVM. Is there something else I need to do to get it to work with the screw terminals?
