Can someone please help me?
I want to know if the system shown in the link below would connect / work on my Sony BVM monitor.
The monitor already has a BNC to RGBS SCART cable. Will the NES shown in the link play only Japanese games or something? I'm not sure what the 21 pin Japanese RGB output is used for. It comes with the SCART cable so it sounds like it will connect to The BNC/SCART cable I already have but I'm not sure about the compatibility.
Any help would be appreciated. The link to the NES I'm referring to is http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 58&alt=web

Re: Help with NES RGB
Seems to be a US console, Japanese Famicoms look different.
The cable from that auction is *not* a SCART cable. It is a JP-21 cable. The connector is physically the same but the wiring is different. You cannot plug this cable (directly) into a SCART RGBS to BNC adapter.

Ok so seeing as I already have a Euro scart to BNC adapter, if I get the JP21 to EuroSCART cable shown in the link below, will that solve the issue? http://www.retrogamingcables.com/europe ... erter.htmlblizzz wrote:Seems to be a US console, Japanese Famicoms look different.

NOTE: the item in the link can be bought euro to jp or jp to euro so I'm referring to the JP21 to euro scart.

Yes, a JP-21 (female) to SCART (male) adapter would work.
